As always, it saddens all of us, when one man, who sacrificed his freedoms to gain the freedom of those people repressed in South Africa.


Just as with all great men, Gandhi, King and many others, be remembered and shine through history, as to show to future generations, there is always hope for bright changes in this world. One just needs to stand up and grab hold of it.




May he rest in peace.

Then you look at the 2008 and 2012 exit polls and you see massive amounts of people who vote for Obama, simple because he was black. And the reverse because some "didn't want a black President". Completely different situation. People voted for Mandela because he was the face of the movement to end the injustice.

The reality is, we truely are no where close to equality than where were in the 80s & 90s in the US.

well lad, obama and the Mandela fellow was from the same country and when people want more people like Mandela... they got obama.  Dont worrie man, america is just like africa in the urban areas.

Plus theres alot of equality in america and they are giving freedoms to people that came to america ilegaly. Like divers license, home and 1k per kid they pop out. Plus they take away jobs from the US workers and give it to the ilegals.

 

Also america has more divercity and democracy than any other country in the world. With africa, they dont pratice divercity or even democracy to much. Just gotta be careful, the wrong color visiting africa will be put on fire for dinner down in africa.
