  • 16"/45 Pattern 1914 Spread

The spread on these guns seems so weak and inconsistent compared to the other BB4+ equivalent gunsets.

Is it due to them being bugged? feels like they have alot and i mean alot of hangtime cause of the extra range.

Second best bb4 spread, after Lion 1.

Forget about Richelieu blockshot, that thing will likely be removed.

Your gunner level is too low for a good spread. That's why everyone advices to lvl your gunners far ahead of your BO.

I haven't used the Stalingrad after the patch, so the spread might have become a little worse due to the extra degrees and range the guns got..
The first time I used it with about lvl 94-96 gunners and I thought the spread wasn't good. Later I used it again when my gunners hit 108-109 and the spread had become very good.
Expect the spread to get better when you're close to the Soyuz.

First of all sorry for my not perfect english, i'm not native...so:

The truth about Stalingrad is that it's well balanced now with it 91 lvl 16" guns. What do you wanted again? BB4 with less range than L1 and less power like MN BB4 you got? NO!!! This is now one of the best BB4s, but it doesn't have any advantage above others. We did testing and:

Range
Yamato
Power:

Iowa=Stalingrad
Armor penetration:

Iowa = Stalingrad

Comment - Stalingrad is right between Yamato and H39 range. When i play just a little defensive style on Yamato i can pop the Stalingrad to the dead easily. I played BB4 rooms on my Yamato facing Stalingrad and it was not a big deal to get this ship. His full salvo makes me yellow, mine full salvo makes Stalingrad red or dead!!! And if you play Stalingrad and face L1 AW you WON'T penetrate his armor even on 45 angle.

Still you all think it's overpowered? IT'S NOT, IT'S JUST GOOD!!!

Armour piercing is way better than Iowa 11ish deckk bounce vs 8,8" deck

Range > H39 right now


Iowa does 45k damage only.
Believe me, I tested well.

Damage = around 42k (tested couple of times) - how could it be 50k if you all see even on GBs that Yamato still has more power, and Yamato has something like 45k

Armour piercing isn't way better than Iowa - we tested QV with 8,9" and it bounced both

Range just as i said before, tested well too. H39 outranges Stalingrad

If you want i can test it once again with my fleetmates and post some screenshots to show that SN BB4 is well balanced now!

You've done your test wrong, because you forgot several things to consider.

And given the most armor you will get on a QV with full 120 crew is about 10" of deck, methinks playing an AW'd QV is questionable.
