  • Should United States and Nato Take Military Force against Venezuelan President Maduro?

Venezuela and United states are 3 hours exact away from each other, but due to a dangerous game Maduro has been playing, do you think it's neccesary that it's time to take military force against Maduro?

If is going to happen; how do you see a possible deployment of Military forces; Army, navy, airforce?

Discuss.

Right now honestly preventing the insurgent groups in the Middle East from capturing nukes in Pakistan should be the majority of the world's primary worry at the moment. Those groups hate the west so much, we cannot be sure that if they had access to them, that they would not use them. Russia and the West all most likely still run their Nuclear protocols from the Cold War, if fired upon to return fire. I don't think I need to continue that scenario.

Due to the fragile relations with other South American countries, I highly doubt the US would invade Venezuela, also.... there is Obama's "Red Lines" to deal with. Especially during a midterm election cycle, Democrats nor Republicans do not wan't to be associated with starting a war when the general American public is very war wary.

Well, U.S doesn't have to occupy venezuela with ground forces.

What U.S could do is like to do something similar like they did on Lybia.

* No Fly zone
* Air Strikes To disable:
- Air bases
- Army bases
- Naval Bases.

* Arm Venezuelan Rebelds so they can defend from Tyranny.

Why Venezuela goverment needs to be removed power by Military Actions:

- Maduro Goverment is ENEMY to U.S and Allies.
- Supporting Terrorist Organizations
- Diosdado Cabello ( Congress president ) Involved in 911 attacks by providing USD 1.000.000 According to one EX venezuelan pilot who provided proofs to the US goverment.
- Venezuelan Goverment Providing Resources to Iran that can faciliate materials to build weapons of mass destruction.
- Spying venezuelan who resides in Florida, United States.
- Attacking venezuela citizens with :
- Army Special forces Snipers.
- Sending Light Armored Vehicles to opress Pacific protesters.
- Believed to possess Biological weapons.

Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the free citizens of the planet Earth!
 Thank you.

No.

America is broke and cannot afford to be the world's best buddy. (Or World's Policeman)

America has to be fixed.
America needs to stop ALL foreign aid 1st!
America needs to repair roads, bridges and America itself.
America needs to secure it's borders.

America is being bled dry enough already.

In short, pull your OWN DAMN WEIGHT!!!

I am tired of being saddled with national expenditures I highly disagree with due to irresponsible multiculturalists currently in power over the country I was born in.

I look forward to the coming apocalypse as described in the bible, and wish it would hurry the hell up.

Andreyeff

If the aim is to bring democracy, happiness and safetiness to people: there's already a problem in Iraq, Libya, Egypt, etc. Bring there what you've started before. As for Iraq: an effective in sense of stability and law government was removed and now there is a chaos, including groups of armed people taking control over oil rigs. So why don't USA/NATO want to bring their peacekeepers there?

Guess the reason is absense of profit in Iraq, so there is another possible reason. In that case they should search for another "victim of democratization", especially to lower the prices of oil. Then Venezuela is a good target.

To Somx:
there are hundreds of threads more without anything off-topicly posted about Ukraine... or more precisely saying about Russians. You have so much work to do writing more imagined sh*t about them.

It's always highly amusing to read you, Telegraph.

Are you a tea-bagger?

If you want to be less "saddled with national expenditures", the US would need to cut its military budget (currently more than 36% of the world total)... that alright with you?

The US budget deficit for 2014 is 16% ($650 bn). Military spending is at $820 bn.

It's your choice, sweetheart, and nobody else's fault.

The whole world is looking forward to your country no longer meddling in other countries' affairs.

Obama has already been VERY reasonable with getting those ratios back on track - it used to be much worse before... (military spending was at 33% of budget, 50% of tax income before 2008 - now it's at 22% / 27% respectively).

Just lol (also at OP).

No!!! It's not America's job to police the world. We have are own issues to deal with here in our own country. Arm yourselves, fight for your own freedom..

No, I don't associate politically with fairy democrats in disguise. They are nothing more than Log-Cabin supporters. I do know who started the tea party and that they try to pass themselves off as "neo-conservative"  but there really is not anything "new" about running America futher in the sewer.

I know what needs to be fixed and what needs to be lawfully removed. Besides the fact that the world is not happy with the Obamanation (unless you happen to be a person of color), the U.S. military is not to be used for Israeli aggression to fight wars for Jews. [Although now it is]

Every damn war involving the middle east and U.S. military is just plain wrong and accounts for the MAJORITY of U.S. taxpayer dollars wasted to finance that unholy machine.

Nuking the whole middle east INCLUDING Israel would bring the world to peace, and cost far less in American blood and treasure. [Ha ha ha, what is left of it]

America cannot afford to be the world's policeman. I think we could be the world's janitor and clean up this worldly mess multiculturalists have placed us in. Barring that I think Russia and China would do well to clean up America by nuclear missiles. Let's pray for the best!
