  • Looking for help with suggestions about KM ebb.

With the help of this event, eventually I will be able to accumulate enough medals to exchange for an ebb. I am planing to get a km ebb to level up my km crew. I am wondering which one I should pick up 1st, since I can only do one now. The current condition of my km crew is one pair of gunners with lvl 120, one pair of aa with lvl 82, support sailors with level 75-80, and my ss captain with lvl 85. I dont have bb captain now.

Any suggestion will be welcome and appreciated.

By the way, sorry for my crappy English.

i would go for Opro II 1942, it has 8 support slot and a good aa platform and a nice spread with the 3x 14.95"

it has a good speed, mine goes 44 or 45 knt (forgot, I'll check it later)

the level though is 87 in order to drive the ship

Thanks for your reply. I am worried whether my km crew under current station lvl 78-80 is able to reach that speed. What level of km crew did you use on Opro II to reach that speed?

By the way, how about bismark 1943?

26/44knts without aa (2reps and 5 engies on support and 1 rep on 1 of the t slot) and .2 belt and 35-40 bulge

25/42knts with aa  (same support as above) and .2 belt and 105 bulge(probably more if would use 3.46" AAs)

sorry no clue about the ebb bissy, all i know is that players that have ebb bissy uses same guns as oproII and ebb oproII and it has 1 less support than ebb oproII

Bismarck (1943) is the same ship with a slight speed nerf and range reduction in exchange for about a 50% firepower increase (trips instead of twins). It hits hard, but isn't fast enough to leverage that damage as well as the O-II, so you have to be good at catching and capitalizing on opportunities as they present themselves, or lucky enough to have some poor sod rush you or otherwise wander into range.

The O-Project II (1942) only differs from the stock ship in having an extra support slot and a slight speed boost, but that makes it a much more versatile ship than the Bismarck, and a better leveling platform. In addition to the extra support slot, the ship's speed and slender profile (and low angle guns) make it an excellent rushing and run-and-gun ship. The low level of your crew, however, may prevent you from bringing out the best in it. Of course, you'll still eventually level your way there, so I'd take it if you do have a full BB support crew, even if they're a bit low on the level.

If you have less than 4 engineers, I might recommend the Gneisenau (1943) instead, which gets Bismarck guns, but is blindingly fast and with a very thin profile that makes it great as a hit-and-run ship. And it won't require a full BB support crew to play well.

Not worth the medals. Get 4x hero sailors and make them engineers.
Don't spend medals on EBB. Buy EBB only with your EBB exchange coupon.

Actually, seeing as he doesn't have a BB BO, an EBB is extremely valuable for him as it lets him level up an extra 4-5 sailors at once, something that would take forever with an SS.

Getting 4 hero sailors would help in the long run, but only if he's interested in leveling them up, spending the resources on EBVing them, and basically starting a new crew from scratch (since he already has one). I'd venture that the majority of players are not interested in going that far for the benefit that is conferred, which hard core gamers tend to vastly overrate.

JonARobinson

If you haven't already levelled/driven a BB DO NOT GET ONE!

We have enough horrible BBs around without a SS driver/wannabe BB messing it up as well.

If you consider playing BB as worthwhile, level a BO for one. It's one extra sailor. And believe me, not only will YOU be a lot less frustrated, so will we because you will have alot more skill in BB, as opposed to just being another "pop smoke-rush-die-let the team down-quit-rinse repeat" noob :)

Good luck with all future ventures :)
