  • Soft Defense on Sub - Can you Burn under watter?

If i have good SD on my Sub, will i burn torpedo damage when i get hit when submerged?

Bonus question - Will a Seaman boost plainsman/sonar if they are already at ability cap, or is that a dumb question?

SD gets burned even if you are underwater.

The cap means it can't go any further. So no, it won't boost it if they are already at the cap.

your assuming though that there is a cap for sonarman and planesmen, but there isn't

A fire in a dived sub in RL is nethal. it burns your O2. subcrews run in danger to die by beeing poisned by CO2 if there is just a tiny fire. Thats RL
In nf it works like for every other ship with 1exception. If u burn heavyly but think about critdiving! U seen burning bbs going down from green to red by 1shell? Its somekind of equal to that thing. U will critdive to death within 1-2sec if u burn a lot and critdive.

For planes and sonar.
Planes isnt caped.
Sonar is some kind of. The sight range jumpes up with certain ability. i think it was 600k/1130k/2200k ability.<-if u have displacement issues do some math with your sonar weather u can cut him down a bit

dont cut the sonar, cut the Bo and torpsman if they have decent level and vets.

actually they were british subs

we had just got it when the fire happened...we lost a guy too...was sad day in canada :(

we got 4 subs now -.-...we leased them for years for something like a half billion....then we were able to purchase them for $1 ... we use the HMCS Corner Brook up north under the ice...based in Victoria (i use to live right next to Naden entrance to the base -.-) pretty cool ships :)
nothing like sitting in your living room and looking straight out the window to all the ships.. i moved when they placed a memorial gun turret in front of my house pointing right to my front door... not too impressed

can you tell i like subs?
