What is max speed for Baltimore with 1 engineer?
 Normal and OH.

25 knot for normal and 38 for OH? It that true?

I'm going to guess those numbers are what your Baltimore does which would mean it is true.

25 kts base probably means you're using the wrong engine and using max displacement.

Don't load up a Balti up for max displacement btw, armoring up a Balti doesn't help 0.2 Belt and bulge until you loose base speed is all you need for blitz.

hope this helps. Balti should OH at high 40s-mid 50s. Even with basic torp armor, fat gunners, AA, and training crew.

Last 2 words is a major problem. You need 4 or 5 for US.

Balti Base speed should be 28. Check Engine and get rid of extra armor. Its usless.

That chart isnt real situations with real crews.

Balti is mid 40s iirc

If you want to go fast with 1 engineer only go New Orleans. 51-53 knots depending on your crew size and engineer quality with 1 BO, 2 Gunners, a Scout, and 1 engineer.

You'll eventually learn that that guide isnt helpful at all. None of those speeds are real unless you plan on running your ship at full displacement always which is not feasible, especially for USN.

Its quite doable to run with full deck!

Now if you talk about efficiency...

gotta use to to interpolate between minimum disp and full. Basically if youre running slower than full, youre doinitwrong
