I am copy n paste Cracko suggestions here in hope that if it gets enough recommends developers will action it

1) The crashing issue.

 

At the begining of any battle you can see a variable number of 1-5 people crash when the shells of first shot fall into the sea. This also happens in HA. This happens everywhere, and it's so weird that it even happens on test mission when you are completly alone. First shells lands, you crash. It's the first cause of crashing by far. This thing appeared when Italian nation came out and since then it never was fixed. Many promises, like the recent Karma post, but the issue is still there.

 

 

 

 

2) The desync issue.

 

When bombers (dive bombers and torp bombers) are around the chances of desyncs are very high. In GBs, in HA, everywhere. Any experienced player know this. Proofs of this have been posted.

Instead deleting the panel with the damage of any player (where desyncs could be observed pretty well) a work on this will be highly apreciated for the community because it's still happening. The only thing we got as an answer was Vick saying the devs say there is no relation between  bombers and desyncs.

I even put a pic demostrating how a desync was produced in the moment a bombing was done thanks to the damage panel, check that thread if  you still have it there, cornandbeef was the opener i think.

 

 

 

 

3) The lag issue.

 

Sometimes people experience lag and they would like to know if it's a problem of their computers or a server/conection issue. A pingmeter would solve this. Many other games have this feature and it can't be so hard to do it. It would be highly apreciated we could have this on Navyfield. Last thing i remember was something from Vick saying that was accepted by devs.

 

 

 

4) RAM requirements.

 

Some people suggested time ago change the format of the sprites to *.png for lowering RAM requirements. With the amount of new EBBs, ECVs that came out in last years it would be a very good idea if possible. Maybe that amount of MB in sprites would be the cause sometimes of other problems.

 

 

 

 

5)The poll section in forums.

 

In last 2 years there was only one poll there. "what nation do you play most?". Frecuency and revelance of polls there should be higher if there is any will in listening the comunity just a bit. Nice work with the one you put some days ago, i hope you can put more.

 

 

 

6)HQ improvements.

 

There were A LOT of threads on suggestions forums about it. Of course a big work on it would take a lot of job, but even a minor adjustment like just being able to select the page where you store a sailor would be a high improvement. Many people asked that improvement in particular.

 

 

 

7)Chat channels.

 

Channels for fleetless people, channels for trading, channels for TNF, etc ... similar to fleet/squad channels. Sure, there are assigned channels, 95% of people don't know channel 110 is for trading or 111 is for TNF. You have the option to mark/unmark fleet/squad channel. Could be the same be done for a "general server channel", "Trade channel", "TNF help channel", etc? Specially a general server channel would be very possitive for many reasons, such solving small doubts about the game (no need of asking a TNF that, anyone can solve it), looking for a fleet or making friends.

 

 

 

 

8)General rework on how exp is given.

 

There are many thing wrong about how the exp is given. For example, if you are a small ship you get like 2x more exp for AAing than for making Anti-SS tasks. For example, on CVs you get more exp for bombing than for using Fighters. For example, on submarines you get really low exp and you don't have any exp incentive for hunting another SSs. Since i read somewhere time ago the test team has completly lost their motivation and they are doing anything this can be a real good project.

 

 

 

 

 

9)Fix broken game modes.

 

9-1)GB2

 

Exp is lower in GB2, so people don't play GB2. It's much funnier than GB1, there was a short time when it was the main game mode of navyfield, but due to points 1) and 2) exp was reduced on it. I hope when those are fixed because when this mode ocasionally in events receives a exp boost it's very anyoning to see flagships crashing or getting the battle screwed due to desyncs.

 

 

9-2)Night battle

 

Exp is lower in GB2, so people don't play night battles. It would need the update of adding submarines because when this mode ocasionally in events receives a boost exp 

submarines are not allowed to join it.

 

 

9-3)Ocupation mode

 

Killing all the enemy ships should be rewarded with the same exp of conquering all the islands. It's stupid when there is an enemy ship left and all people have to wait and not killing it until all the bases are taken. Many times people don't wait.

 

 

9-4)Op_Convoy

 

Still no autosplit for this game mode. No possibility of 1-round games (in 3-5-7 round games people use to crash and the game becomes one-sided). No posibility of BBs playing.

Also there is a bug around in op_convoy of your guns just not shooting. They promised to work in this game mode in the past but it was never done. The funniest game mode of this game just completly forgotten. 

 

 

9-5)WaW mode.

 

This mode is just retarded.

 

a) Cero teamplay.

b) Battles end in a pair of minutes.

c) Playing like a retard, rushing like a mad with smoke, get some damage and die in 1 minute gives you more exp (rate) than playing correctly.

d) Even receiving low exp on GBs (point 8), SSs are not allowed to access this kind of exp.

 

 

9-6) Fleet War.

 

Nice changes were made on this regar

Most points are awesome indeed!

Credit/point gain is pretty sufficient when you play cv ;)

Although we cant get the whole server to play their cv's at once can we :P

Another thing that I would like to see (perhaps done gradually, or in sections) is the remodelling of some of the turrets in proportion to ship size. I'm sure a lot of players find it jarring when some AA turrets are bigger than their mains. Just a thought.

Point 11 needs removing. None of those are needed and would mess up the game economy even more.

24 was a disaster the last time it was done (Anyone remember Latigokiller or Falcon_night?). People should be invited to join TNF based on their personal qualities, not because they speak a language. Any extra languages are a bonus.

The sub limits in HA should no way be eased. The things are proven to be completely overpowered, and they should be FORBIDDEN from use in HA or fleet league until they are balanced. There are also PROVEN desyncs caused by them from a number of sub hacks out there. 

Also, the test team hasn't lost all motivation. Vick just blocked all contact whenever he was around. Obviously this changed. The motivation was always there and is probably stronger than ever.

Of course people shouldn't join TNF only because they speak a certain language, but I bet there are people out there whom are good for TNF and speak a needed language. And if none is found, maybe they can have a few people doing only translation work.

And BTW, I totally agree with it. The short time the olive trade was out there a lot of people who couldn't afford olives could access them, and people who wanted an easier way to get their crews, spent a lot of money in the game. And now that the olive attendance is gone, it can't be exploited.

You are right on your first point, i'd hope there are people that speak a particular language and they are a right fit for TNF. But the language bonus must come after. Just bringing people in for translation work only can still lead to abuse.

The short time it was out, it was exploited (TNF and SDE have admitted it) - same with the daily olive bonus. That was why it was taken away. Olives, much like credits, have hyper inflated over time due to these exploits. With all the event exploits recently, its VERY likely this is spread to medals (given the nature of the exploits).

I would suggest severe caution and to actually consult with people that know a thing or two about economics before anything drastic is done. And currencies that have been subject severe exploits need to have actions taken before they are considered for new features.

I agree, there should be a way of free players to trade for store items, but doing it with any currently existing currency is a mistake and opens massive holes for abuse, and it needs to be done carefully with consultation with people that have experience in this area.
