Hi guys, I was hoping for advice about my current situation. The situation im in is im a hiryu driver,
I currently have 3 fighter pilots(lvl 71, 71, 69), I have 2 dive bomber pilots (69,  51), I have 2 torpedo bombers(71, 52 )  
and the issue is I play in gb2s a lot and seem to get dominated. Primarily my fighters just get shredded and
i have trouble providing bomber protection and fighter coverage to my team. What can I do or do I need to bite the bullet
and grind to a higher level and try to get the t3 fighters? any tips or advice to help me?

btw my bo is almost 75 and i can get the akagi but i dont feel thatll change anything, my play style is 3 fighter pilots
1 tb and 2 dbs.

actually this is not a very good setup of CVs
but skills change everything :) just pratice more!
so for the imformation of the basic setup of CVs, you can roll down a bit in this IJN section and look for a thread called "New to CVs"

but if you are kinda too lazy (like i am :p) , just stick to your current crew and try to work with them better :)

for your fts, if you really have the concept of intercepting bombers and scouters,
congradulation, you have the right concept but just don't have high lv enough crew
so before your fts getting over 76lv , you can try to use local fts
they have better performence on killing bombers and scouters

and as for your bombers, i suggest you to lv them to higher lv before switching CVs becoz they are now way too far from the BO's lv
pilots are the most valueable asset of CVs , so make sure they are high lv enough to be competitive (atleast get close to your CV required lv)

btw you have still one slot left on your Hiryu, so what did you put on that slot?

I had a Ijn rep from my gun crew i threw on the hiryu for now, Ill give the local fighters a try, Ill also try to level my bombers more thank you for the advice.

Level 2 more fighters and a DB or 3 more fighters. you WILL need them later.

What this guy said is great advice. If your FT Whoring That is. If you FT Whore you hold 5-6 Fighters no matter what cause Your fighters whatever stat will get shot down. To dominate other CV's fighters you need multiple planes out there. Basically What im Saying is you should always have the maximum amount of planes your CV can launch out and have another 2-3 Pilots ready for when they get shot. and maybe have 1-2 bombers TB or Db if you want to have fun. If your An IJN DB fan or maybe TB carry 6 DBs and 2 Fighters or vice versa with TBs. And let me tell yea. IJN Tier 2 DBs were the best back in the day with just 4 nations and still is one of the best. 9-12 DBs and you can take down whatever you wish that has no SD. I did 18 DBs before and I killed a Monty wih a bit of help from the BBs.
If your balanced I'd go 4/4. If you can really do it or want it you could run 2dbs 2tbs if you know how to Bomb someone IJN Style. But I suggest going 4fts/4DBs or Tbs if you want to go balanced.
