  • Ban PHH from blitz

this has been bought up several times before, so let's get a suggestion thread going.  phh need to be banned from blitz.  they're an ASW weapon, not a surface weapon.  and last time i checked there is no subs in blitz,  so why are they still allowed?

Its just my personal opinion, but HH is more effective than most guns in the blitz battles. Its over powered on the surface yes, but untill its nerfed, I think its a great weapon to gain XP and credits. So untill that happens, people will be using HH, and people will be getting upset that they just got sunk by a DD and FF.

HH is an anti-sub MORTAR, as a mortar, it shouldt have any armor penetration.

Also they arent shells, its a god damn mortar, you cant fire a mortar like it where a gun! mortars need to be fire at HIGH angle and have a ballistic trajectory, so mortars needs to have a MINIMUM angle(lets say 40° min, 90°) max and dont allow auto FCS on them.

Right now they are like having a 7x7.9" gun loaded with HE avalible on every ship, and they are also capable of damaging subs.

And remember that as a mortar, even after a ballistic trayectory, they shouldt effective VS armor, its like using a Mortar(HE) to bomb a tank in WW2... it will take VERY VERY long to destroy it, even after direct hits, you probably never going to destroy it, but disable it at best.

And that same tank can be destroyed by taking a single hit of HE or AP round of any AT or tank gun, why? because shells are intended to do that, its the speed at impact and shell composition what make posible to do so. in fact AP rounds carry very little explosive, but they are the most effective VS armor (like its in game).

They're not fine at all. They're the most ridiculous thing in this game.

They're not supercannons, they're anti-sub weapons. They fired about 300 yards or so in a circle; nothing like the way they're used ingame.

And yes, there's no subs in blitz so why are they allowed?

If you have so much trouble with them, put on Light Shells and keep ur range. HH do fly a good ways, but you should be able to range em

Get used to em, they aint leaving blitz anytime soon
