A "spectator" mode was discussed and planned a decade ago (Actually the sprites for it are still in the SPR folder).


It was dropped for various reasons, one being lack of server resources to run greater than 128 clients per room at the time.


Now-a-days, it would be too difficult and dangerous to add a spectate mode to so many key core game functions that have not been touched in nearly a decade.
