Today is the 6th June.

 

71 years ago we invaded the beaches of Normandy so that others could live in freedom.

 

Spare a thought today for those who never made it.

We do not need to develop trade relations with Russia, 40% of all European exports of goods - it's too much! We want more tanks, they will help lift the economy of Eastern Europe and Greece! )))))))

Spare a thought also for those that did.  There is a man in my church who went ashore at Bloody Omaha on D-day.  I would not wish those memories on anyone.  Manys thank to him and those like him as a well a those that gave all.  

Truly they are the greatest generation.
