  • New Map With a Supply Base

Benefits:

You dont have the supply ship and be the bomb.
Supply when you are in need.
in can defend itself with AA and artillery

Goals:

Whoever destroy first the base, and defend theirs, wins the battle or until all ships are killed.( Same as GB2 method but like Ha Style)

extra info: Artilery damage prevents DD and SS from entering the base, once the SS is on surface, the artillery will start attacking. Same with DDs.
Team DD's can place mines, and mines will be shows to everybody in the team, since the base is in your team.( lets make the mine, more valuable )

Limits: Reload time should it take less than 25 seconds , if you dont get out of the base in 1 minute, you will be retreated.

Dont really get it with the supply if you are close to the supply base do you get new stuff like repair faster,new ammo or what?
Kinda dumb ,what i think, to post this without bring up everything like:
Supply base while give you 7 shells each ten second dependent on how mutch dp the supply base is.
The supply base dp is calculated with the amount of players like 40 players total will give the supply base a 20k dp,if the base then got 5k left it's only give out 2 shells each ten second.
The caliber on the guns while be 6" to 10-11" depend on what lvl the room is created for (like you can chose if you want have 60-120 room, 1-30 room, 31-60,60-85,86-105 and 105-120. The gun while do 324 damage on 6" gun and 10-11" gun it while do like 893 damage.
Range on the guns would be 6"= 2500 meters and 10-11"=6000 meters (dont know how mutch that is in game but i dont care) Relode on the guns would be 6"=3-4 secs and 10-11" 8-10 secs.
The aa gun while have a caliber on 3-4" and while do 50 damage each shell and have a relode on 0.98 sec.

Well, My idea was to suggest a supply base and with defenses, and rest to be discussed and people can actually suggest to this suggestion, Supply base is meant to give you supplies, such ammo.

1- It cannot take too long, if there is time added.BTW, its similar like flags, once you
destroy the base, you have 5 minutes, to destroy enemy base.

time limit : 15 minutes.

You win either way you kill all enemy ships or you destroy and defend the base for 5 minutes.


2- You are Limited from shooting if you are loading Ammo, you cannot shot from base against enemy ships, time limit to stay and reload in base is 1 minute, resupply as mentioned aboved.If you stay more than 1 minute, you will retreat.

THAT would actually be an interesting new game mode, rather than GB I-II that just kills the other!

But I wouldnt make it a resupply however. That would allow people to run with crappier ammo to save weight, or with guns that normally aren't really usable due to ammo to become a serious option in that map and create some imbalance.

Never mind TW that could resupply and keep torps hammering.

I wouldn't also give it defense of its own. If a team fails at keeping a good line or covering the base, its their loss. Maybe CVs would finally work to protect something.

It would be a flag that doesnt crash.

Alternatively, it could also be an assault/defense style that would make it fun for all players without being in a major HA able fleet.

What is stupidely long in Convoy is the number of rounds, the pointlessness of taking the darn box, the fact lvl 120 crewed PCAs just have fun nuking anything in sight, and the crappy xp you receive at the end.

I believe this could have similar lenght to a GB, with 20-24 BBs 8 CVs and be a fun game mode. At least it offers something different.

Maybe a CV number increase would help too to make defence to base a bit more effective.
Like to have 6 cv per team allow a real covering and possibility to attack the ennemy base.
If you have a group of ships going for the ennemy base you make the air escort system real effective.

Main issue I believe is too many CVs increase the ammount of plane in the sky at once, and cause lag.

If they could go to 10 (5 per team) that would be nice, but I know I'd rather keep 8 and have server stability.

Also, for kaiser, out of the current event its useless to have 10 cvs per room, as its mainly 3 GB with full BBs and waiting for some CVs. Increase of amount of CV per team would simply worsen that.
