Hi!

My antivirus is giving me an alert while auto-patching with the latest patch:

a variant of win32/packed.thermida

potentially unwanted application.

am I the only one gettting this?

i'm assuming this is just a false alarm but please can anyone confirm?

Potential unwanted is normally fine.
Specificaly win32/packed.thermida

To my understanding it's a download agent used on a fair few safe programs.

Just ignore it, for now. :)

No problem! Apparntly it's quite common. Never had the issue myself, or with Navyfield but alot of people have it with different programs. I'm guessing your using AVAST or AVG?

I dont get flagged with my Anti Virus, but Windows Defender (I know, out of anything) always comes up with an Adminirsator message when im trying to boot, Its a common occurness because windows wants to be safe for everyone.
It is probley your Anti Virus trying to pervent any "bad"(I mean that updates for free games can give you this flag) free software to be installed
