Disabling right click doesn't work for anyone who is determined to copy the works. If you allow people to see your full-res art, they can still download it. Better solutions are to only release low-res versions or use large watermarks.

And it's over double the price the original artists want for the largest available sizes. Cute.

What I wonder about is how people couldn't tell that this "artist" was a fraud. even looking at the small thumbnails there, you see many different styles of drawing people. Artists have a style, and that style is like a signature. If you're really good you can create in 2, 3 or a dozen styles. But 182 styles? No. No frakking way.

I mean, please. These artists give you PC desktop art for free. And if it's ZOMG amazing and you just gotta have it, you can get 12"x18" for 20 bucks or less. But I guess you steal from the poor because the rich have better lawyers, right? .

The irony is that a lot of those artists will accept commissions for less than $100, let alone prints for that cheap.

It's good to see him getting called out for this. While not an artist myself, I have had the displeasure of having some of my writing plagiarized, which is a pain in the a** to get resolved. To this day, I still cringe when it gets misquoted or misused, but I (thankfully) haven't seen it happen in a while.

Protecting intellectual and artistic property is a pretty difficult endeavor, especially in the last ten years or so. I sometimes wish we could go back to the old "steal my things and I am entitled to break your bones" days....
