Similar thing happened with my account. Account activation failed every time with Please check your username and password. I submitted two tickets, first one closed, second no response. I opened up a third with as much info as possible. I attached screenshots and emails from prior correspondence from NF Support/SDEnterNET to prove I was who I was, asking to please activate my account; still no response. Once a week I would attempt to reset my password while trying to activate my account. Voila, approx one month later the password reset was successful. All or most of my crew were restored. All but one BB6 was still in my shipyard, but it appeared that the credits I spent on them were in my HQ. Most of my points for the BB6s were not credited but heck, just lucky I had what I had. At the end of the day I am happy my account was restored but I never did get a response from support. Hope this helps.
