  • support sailors don't add repair?

Hello,

I bought two super elite repairman. I know it sounds weird, but i don't intend to actually class them to repairmen. They currently are level 32 SUPPORT SAILOR (not classed to repairmen).. but don't seem to add any repair ability to any ship.

Is this because they are too low?

Or is it because they NEED to be classed to repairman to actually repair?

It seems like my gunners can add some repair (they are level 125) though. So I figured a support sailor should even if they aren't classed. Thouhgts?

Every Sailor contributes to repair rate aslong as he has a ability above zero in that. 
So classing yours is not a must - though i dont see why you dont want to class them. 

Level 32 is still very low and you didnt write about vets(green) and experts(white) amount on them.  All these 3 are essentiel for how much repair they add (and keep full rookies/red sailors). Dont expect a noticable effect until level 60.
