depends on location... if your like me and live in EST zone you find the slow time of the servers since most players are Chinese now. However the game is far from dead. Its still going as far as being able to get rooms to start. Most of the player base has shifted away from blitz and in GBs so if your looking for the good ol days its not here. But the game has moved on to the GB scene and is populated. And the game does well to push players past the lower levels and into a BB4/CV4 fairly quickly as to not leave you stranded in an FF for weeks on end

Hello Andy, it's been a while since I saw you. We are improving the game continuously and after remake the graphics later we will do large scale of promotion.  So it is far from dead.  Welcome back! 

I'm back since a few months. It's quite playable (CET). Weekends in the afternoon CET is quite packed, then evening in China/Asia. I've seen a near full grid of games running at that time.
