More ammo and better coverage. And unlike Kita i don't have to turn the entire ship to fire at something.

dont waste your olives on asama.. buy boosts or something.

Kita AAing sux due to the limited firing arcs. As sonlirain said, you have to be broadside pretty much in order to fire.

The kita is a TW, not a gun ship.


Now Asama isnt really awesome at AA either. Sure it works, but its 4 AA slot per side are kinda spaced, and the mogami does a better job overall, weither you are using the 2x4,7 or 3x6,1.
