  • for a main fleet to form a squad does it need to disband?

im curious if there was a fleet that had no squads just the main fleet and it wanted to join someone else as a squad would the fleet need to disband in order to form a squad then join or could it just join?

You would have to disband fleet, (only fleet leader should get a penalty)....
Send a support ticket in to rectify this. They will Lift for a valid reason.
(if all members get penalty, again ticket this list to TNF)
Once penalties lifted.
Then get some one to set a squad up that everyone can rejoin.
Then you may aproach the fleet with a ready made squad.

Wrong, they have changed this about a year ago ish. Remember SQ leaders was able to leave a fleet and re join a fleet? They changed this due to SQ leaders fleet hopping. Everyone in a fleet regardless if fleet leader disbans or a SQ leader disbans from a fleet, all members have a 7 day penilty.

true, all of the member on that squad or fleet that has been disbanded have a penalty but it can be lifted if there is a valid reason.

Yes, recently they have been enforcing 7 day penalty for all. Especially if fleet is any where near an HA...
Movemember function is being worked on and hopefully will be re-introduced...
