look in the game info under ship tree and remember 5 slots on ships except SS and CV but the ship tree shows the # of support slots other wise check www.trainworld.us

Trainworld however says in parentheses then number of support slots next to number of total sailors slots.

You can usually deduce the number of R-sailors and T-sailors from trainworld.us' ship data: if you click the ship of interest on the "ship data in full details format" page, there is a two-barrel turret icon on the title bar. Click that, and it will show you the the weapon mount configuration for the ship.

Not all ships have this information available, and it's still not entirely clear how many sailors are necessary for some of the ships, but you can at least see firing arcs and weapon mount positioning.
