Hi There,

NF runs again under linux due the removal of hackshield, you can use playonlinux do get this game running.
I can't provide a step by step guide but most linux users wil get it working.

Overide DDL´s for NavyField.exe;

dsounds needs to be set as native
msvcp60 needs to be set as native:

Download: https://www.dllbank.com/zip/m/msvcp60.dll.zip

msvcrtd needs to be set as native
quartz needs to be set as native

Oh I just got a boner reading this.

I can get it to install and update (further than I've ever been before), but it dies on loading. Need to get msvcp60 figured out (have the rest set as native), but I need to be drunk to deal with Wine/Linux, so I may try again this weekend.

Now it won't load dsound. F**k me, this is why I drink.
