 Get rid of scouts. Fold them into fighters. Make the area of sight around the bb or other ship reasonably big enough as per technologies of the day, binoculars, telescope, sonar, radar. Now bbs and all other ships spot their own targets. CV's can now enjoy doing what CVs should do in this game use their fighters and bombers to help team but mostly just to actually have fun.

or better yet, make scouts mandatory for bbs(except nelson and andrei) and ca when entering gb1 or gb2.

The funny thing is, this isn't the 1200s anymore, most people know that the earth is round.

So round in fact that shells fired from late battleships couldn't be seen at maximum range and neither were the targets being shot at. There is a good reason why the longest naval hits are at ~70% of total range.

Ummm no Scouts were esential to the war for loacating enemy beyond the ships site range as it should be
