As we know, this forum is missing many promised functions as well as the Old Forum Data as issues as well.

Here is a list of proposed quick fixes that can be easily done (Considering from experiance its at least relatively easy to do in PHP, I'm assuming microsoft wouldn't make ASPX  harder to use)

Copy and Paste Code for the New Topic Text Editor over the code for the reply editor and change nessasary lines of code to make it fuction. (To get Images into Replies)

Or if that is somehow going to take months to do...:

Enable Basic HTML (<b></b<<i></i><u></u><a href=""></a><img src="">)or BBC Code ([img][/img])(Only those tags would be needed for now, they are all easy to code in))

Change Old Forum Data from embedded popup to New Tab or Window to allow easier direct linking to old forum data. Searching the thread in google for direct links is a mess.

Change Old Forum Data Post order from (newest to oldest) to (Oldest to Newest) (The Correct Order)

Add warning popup if Title of Support Tickets are too long to reduce the number of "Bad Request" Errors

I'll post more if I can come up with them. The basic idea is fix the "Major" problems now and go back and fix the rest whenever. These are all relatively easy to code and I don't see why they haven't been down already.

Website issues I can think of off hand:

Chrome middle click Bug for the forums (Its meant to open in a new window when you click general discussion/off topic or a new thread, however it doesn't work on chrome)

Reply needs to have the WYSIWYG editor

Old Forum Data link (which I believe you found) should be under the community tab

Copy and paste causes errors

Support tickets shouldn't ever be auto closed straight away, you should at least request a reply asking if this answers there question, allowing the player to say thanks or ask a further question.

Guides need redoing, and a wiki needed.

Updates to ranking/HOF

Probably alot more i have in a list, but its good to get them down.

-quote function doesn't work in Regional Subforums.

-allow multi-quoting.

I'm not convinced by a wiki. There are a LOTS of people in NF that think they are awesome even tough they downright suck. I don't fancy writting something and then having such a person pass on it after me and filling it with BS.

Wiki shouldn't be editable for all, the concept of a proper set of guides is still the same.

Multi-quoting is possible, but you have to have the quote functions in caps, like {QUOTE}. And you have to manually add it in.

suffered laziness of typing since I was on my cellphone typing this. I meant an easy way to multiquote without copy-pasting every single post you need. Mainly thinking about a quote button in the shown post under the writting field of the post you are doing.

Wiki by definition is something editable by all. At least all registered members. Even if you wanted to implement some rating, you know, probably better than most I'd suspect, the lenght at which some people goes to prove idiocy has no discovered limits, and the amount of equally dimwitted friends they'll have backing them in their rants.

Most people will back individuals rather than ideas, to a point it get stupid in this community, which is why I think an NF wiki would fail. For the rest, who'd choose who can write? What criteria could be put in that would prevent idiots from writting in it? Game played? Level (lol) ? Time in game? I really don't see what criteria in NF can really filter idiot, and I doubt anyone would have the balls to make a selection and feel the wrath of idiot but paying customer in TNF/SDE.
