To answer a few questions that were asked:


I think there shouldnt be any ship class restriction. If this is a fleet league, i guess all ships should be included, just a thought.

Fleet league is a skill based competition. To give smaller fleets and newer fleets a chance, ship limits are here to create balance.



We already have ONF site, NF forums is already restrictive enough so would prefer not to use them.

The goal of creating a FL section on the NF forums is to provide easier access to the boards and draw more attention to them. Since your NF account is linked with your forum account, you will not have to create another account for fleet league. It also helps those who are in fleets on both servers, reducing the accounts they need significantly.



Replacement for ONF?

Total replacement, no. Depending on what ONF decides to do, they are welcomed to move their FL to the NF forums if they wish to. I have talked to ljsevern about this, and we're trying to figure something out with the rest of TNF.

It is a good idea, we have the offsite kaiser event forums, however they don't get nearly as much traffic as the main navyfield boards. I would support a fleet league section integrated into these boards.

Still stand by my opinion that NF board is far more restrictive than ONF and SDE wouldn't be prepared to change it.
Plus... LJ and several ONF members have put in a lot of hard work to get the league up and running, they have had a little support from a minority of TNF and have been given olive prizes but overall TNF don't seem too involved in the league.

Is the idea here purely to create a forum section for the already running Fleet League(s)?

If so, I can't be against it, provided it is used only for posting relevant information and discussion, whilst having the ONF forums as the main official FL forums.

This isn't something I am against, but if done it must be done right.

At least for Season 1 though, I won't be moving sites; But I do not mind cross posting over to here like I do now.

Kaiser's FL has moved from Sov's NFNYFL to NFCS's forums and now to Docryan's Kaiser event boards.

I have absolutely no intention to move the Kaiser FL to another other forum than to the Navyfield forums. The Kaiser community has shifted enough forums already.
