i would suggest fixing them to being how they are in regular games seeing as how there is no where to even test how the guidelines are and u have to then just guess howmany recruits is needed.... and on my km 120 bo when i add full recruits to it the guidelines is still shorter then what h39 shells are

...thats the whole point of night battle.

just shoot a salvo in the beginning and mark your max range.

hint: seeing as how there is no where to even test how the guidelines are

or in other words there is no night battle test room

Actually, night battles aren't working, since all ranged based BBs do not want to play them since their effective range is drastically reduced, to the point using HHE on a 16" fuso would nesrly make sense.

Also, gunship are at a disadvantage while CVs keep their full efficiency, safe for plane sight.

Not sure if fixing the guidelines is the way to go to make it interesting, but I'd tend to agree. Little point to them otherwise, other than having some BB2s using "crap" setups that suddenly appear as OP.

Some people might like that as thy figure somewhat a BB2 needs equal chance than a BB5 in impressives leaps of logic, but most people don't, therefore they ain't played by most and the mode never has been a success.

Anyways, what is wrong with your BO? My normal GB lines is with 7-10 recruits for most BB and 220 for Night battles. The point of a night battle is to increase the difficulty due to lack of vision. It's designed for smaller tier ships having a chance against higher tiers. Or just giving similar tiers more of a challenge. Part of this challenge is more difficulty spotting shells. Imagine fighting in WW2 ship during a pitch dark night. Your ability to see would be drastically hindered.
