Hi, I would just like to ask if its okay to just leave seaman as 2nd class seaman like fighter pilots..

because what I've heard that if you just leave it as fighter pilot and not class it to ace or squadron leader hence you gain more crews
which you will have get more vets compared to ace and squadron fighters does it work the same on seaman?

According to OBST's sailor guide, a Seaman's growth goes like this:

2nd Seaman crew growth: 6
1st Seaman crew growth: 8
Chief Seaman crew growth: 10

On the other hand Fighter Pilots have a growth of:

Fighter Pilot crew growth: 5
Ace Fighter Pilot crew growth: 4
Flight Squadron Leader crew growth: 3

Clearly, the growth is opposites: Seaman goes up, Fighter Pilots go down. Class your Seamen on time, to benefit from increased crew growth.

The actual true growths are:

Fighter:

12 (+2 National Trait) = 14
14 +8 (Special Force) = 22
22 +5 (Fighter Pilot) = 27
27 +4 (Ace Fighter) = 31
31 +3 (Sqd Leader) = 34

This works by the fact than The number of Sailors added per level DECREASES as you class sailors.

The difference between 2nd and 1st Seamen's Sailor gain per level is too small to make a factor like Fighters, plus the Gain added is increases substantially.

Fighters are really the only thing you can not class, you must have lots of money when you do it though.

Class your seaman. Its not going to work.like fighters can.
