  • NF and Xfire

So NF and Xfire are running a event.
Only problem is nf crash to destop ever time i join a game with Xfire on. any one else sufferfrom this?

Hey Fairimear, sorry to hijack your post but I wanted everyone to see this clearly. -MK2

For anyone experiencing this problem the solution is to launch Navy Field through the Xfire launcher.
If you launch NF separately it will likely crash. Running it through Xfire resolves this issue.

Xfire runs well with nf here. Only issue I have is that Xfire in game will not work when FRAPS is loaded.

My NF crash whenever I have xfire and steam running.
Must shut down xfire in order to run it.

But yea, I dare anyone said it's my PC. When I conduct TESTS on live server and test server.
Test server have no problem whatsoever, however live server does.


Plus, security on test server is totally different from live server.
They have ninja patch their hackshield, I couldn't even logg in NF with my laptop.

Got Xfire and Steam running here all the time and never had issues with those 2 while playing nf or any other game for that matter.
I cannot get Steam's in game interface to work with nf, but it has no issues with Xfire here.

@Zagato: NF cannot be launched by linking directly to the .exe , you have to start it through the launcher.

You cant interact too much with the xfire ingame interface or you will crash.

Dont worry that TROLL know very well xfire have issues for many people, including me when he soddin talks to me in game, opening x-fire in game gives me a massive chance to crash.

So much for the "official NF communication tool"
