Hi,
how much armor should i put on a Op2? , i want the ship fast and i got 3x lvl 80-88 enginers .
thinking of buying 2 more for the event OP2(1943).

please help

Heres how you can max out the speed on your OP2, or any KM BB:

1. Set up fully configured ship.
2. Put your crew on.
3. Put on 0.2-0.3 belt
4. Put on as much bulge as possible without losing a knot of speed.

Like other km ships, this OP2 does not make great use of a AW setup so don't bother using any more than what you get using the method I have shown. With the OP2 I would reccomend at least 4 engys, especially if you plan on going to h39,h44 and kaiser. I used 4 and it worked fine. It is a really fast and fun ship but probobly wont speed cap untill all your engies are almost at 90. Unless, they are boosted and/or supervetted. Hope this helps.

so i dont use any deck armor, but how about bulk head?

O2 can be successfully AW'd.. That how I managed my last two levels to H39. It hauls if played correctly..

5 engies works better for km, and o2 1943 can be armoured, but plays better not armoured

ahh i c , was thinking of getting 2 more enginers , problem is many says that bulk is good? and should i take bulge instead`?

Bulkhead is only for games without torpedoes and only if you can hold a decent amount without losing speed. Bulkhead protects your engines basically raising the amount of damage you can take before losing OH speed.

Speed and range are the only advantage of km so 0.2 belt only+bulge until lost 1 knot.
(<=bb3 4eng 4rep, >=bb4 5eng 3/4rep to cap speed faster)
AW would be fun but it is not recommended when you are low lvl. The AW tactic needs good gunner and engineer to use it well. Also, the armor is not cheap at all.

Excuse me, i wana know that the normal speed and the fantastic speed of O proII and O proIII.
Is it good to use 2R at front only than 3R?

Hi Gabbe,
i use 5 engineers on Opro2, +11 bve, and you should run with bulge + 0.6 belt armor (in this 3 guns configuration no deck at all) 26/44 knots. I think this is the best configuration: You got speed, enough firepower (i assume you got some decent Gunners :D ) and the ship has enough turn speed to dodge properly.

I dont use to AW the opro2 for the next reasons:
a) KM armor is expensive;
b) KM armor isn´t good enough to pay it for;
c) If you go fat, you are easy food in this BC, you need speed to avoid BB4,5 or 6 to hit you.

i think bulk head is good for bbs as it will decrease dp limit for OH
(eg. normally u can OH >=8000dp, higher bulk head ~~ can OH >= 7000 dp )
But I still don't know the calculation of the bulk head system.....
