How many times have you seen the sailor you wanted vanish in the rolling trance? 'Back' button would make people pretty happy , I think.

I'd be happy to have a 'BACK' button, yes.

If you aren't concentrating, you shouldn't get the sailor. I've done it myself a number of times.

I would prefer a better neut sailor system, but I wouldn't want this system to get even more easier to get +12's.

"more easier" lol, you never cease to amaze me. Sorry, but people get semi-hypnotized by rolling over and over. If the number comes up, you should get the sailor, not lose it from having your eyes glazed over. But thanks for stopping by LJ, I always look forward to the kind, humble, understanding things you say.

If you want to re-read my post and stop with your usual rhetoric, feel free.

Its a simple fact. If you want to roll neuts, concentrate.

I've "missed" a lot of good sailors while rolling, cause my fingers work faster than my eyes.
And yeah, of course you should concentrate while rolling, but a little help won't hurt anyone, you still need to have luck to get a good sailor.

To be quite honest, I would prefer a neut "Shop" rather than a rolling system.

Or a system where you roll 10 sailors and choose a max of say, two to keep.

I'd personally rather a RP style system where you get points to distribute. Say all sailors start with 8 in each stat, and you get another 6 to do what you like. So you can stat yourself an 11/11 but he'd have 8 in every other stat, or a 12/10 if that was more your thing, or a 10/10/10 if you were making a planesman or something and wanted him to be able to repair and restore as well. OK I just made those numbers so don't flame be based on them, but that kind of system would be far more fair and far less frustrating. A simple but restricted choice between a 12 that sucks at everything else or something more balanced.

I can agree and disagree with the "back" button for multiple reasons.... I agree only because I have nearly missed so many +12s and +15s so many times. I disagree because it would bring up a lot more +12s which would lead to less sailor demand at lower levels. Speaking of sailor demand, I think that our own rolled neutrals are starting to become worthless and are having a harder time selling due to all of the Elite sailors given out from the far too common events that have come up over the past year or so. All of these Elite sailors are making the demand for them go way up which makes the demand for +12s or +11s go way down. For me, this sucks because I am only 15 and I can't get a job to even buy from the store. Even worse, I can usually only play on the weekends so I can't fully take part in all of the events that have been going on... For this Christmas event all I have earned so far is 1 boost and 10 veterans. I have 55 coins only because I have been able to play over x-mas break. Anyways, enough of me complaining, i'm not going to recommend just yet as I want to see what others have to say about the back button.

Also, I like vlads idea about assigning points to our own sailors. The numbers would have to be tweaked to make them perfect but I think it could be accomplished somehow.

As for you idea lj, I think it could also work. It would give you 10 sailors to look at instead of clicking the NEW button 9 times and possibly skipping over a +12. It would also make you concentrate on a larger list of sailors instead of just the 1 sailors abilities. In doing that you would have a less chance of skipping a +12 or +11.

I like that idea also.
