The AD is by far the better ship.

all ebb1s are novelty ship, so go choose AD or better choose ebb2 or 3 cause you won't get it until the next event that gives event ships

well the way i see it is if you have access to olives you can buy a AD at any time, but the Nassau you can only win.

if you are looking for something to level in the AD is much the better choice but the nassau is a fun little ship.

so to sum up:

if you have or can get olives buy a AD with those and use the coins for a nassau

if you cant get olives use your coins on a AD

yes, AD is a good leveling ship

Nassau has slightly less range than the AD, a weaker broadside (8 guns vs 10 guns), nassau only has 6 support slots vs ADs 7, Nassau's base speed is 2 knots slower, and the Nassau's shells hit like pillows. If you are not an extremely experienced player, do not get the nassau. Oh, for the guy who is getting the dreadnought, I like my dread as well, but it also suffers from a 22 knot base speed and pillow shells.

Ok, here is the deal:
AD=10 guns of raep in a small hitbox with good speed and good turning force.
EBB Nassau= Just a Novelty ship that you can "Show off" to other people because you have it and others don't. Pretty much like the Turtle ship.

Conclusion: If you want to level and don't have access to olives then go for AD. If you want to show off then go for Nassau. But I warn you that Nassau is an EBB1 and as such it will not deliver anything above the level of a BB1.5, while the AD is just a wonderfull (I even dare to say Over Powered) ship which helped me a lot to level my crew untill I got Bissy and even after that I still used it some times.

EBB1's were meant for only fun gameplay. If you want a serious leveling ship the AD is the best choice. Best PBB in my opinion. I have one and it helped me get to BB3 easily
