To be historically accurate, and to add more varity to the game, let's rename the USN Sevastopol to the "Poltava", a sister ship to the Seva.
It would also be nice to add a seperate sprite file for it, to allow people like me to mod it, and create 1 camo for SN, and the other for USN.

A better idea (it also sounds cooler) would be to rename the SN Sevastopol to the Parizhskaya Kommuna. That was what the Sevastopol was renamed to "erase" the rebellion of the Baltic Fleet against the Communist Party, and to commemorate the Paris Commune, which I have no idea what that is (I'm into ships, not federal documents). The Parizhskaya Kommuna was also overhauled in the mid-1930s, so I think if the name of the SN Sevastopol got changed, the specs should be too, so it should be slightly better than the USN version.

Fifty bucks says AndrusN is gonna come in and go all Jarhead on me and correct me, because as we all know he has a doctorate in naval history, right? *wink, wink*
If we did that, every noob in NF would ask THIS QUESTION: "Is that the French PBB?" lol.

The Italian Pbb will most likely be the Andrea Doria because it was actually an Italian ship. I don't know why they had to go and give USN the Seva, UK the Dunkerque, and KM the Andrea... Why couldn't they have picked ships that that nation actually owned?

first, to address ciscodelorum, most noobs wouldn't guess "Parizhskaya Kommuna" is "Paris Commune," in Russian, so I think we're good there. second, to Vette117, I don't think there were really any good USN ships that would have made good PBBs, but in KM they could have used the "pocket battleships," or the Panzerschiffe line. with the brit Dunkerque, that was an original English one, but France had some too. I don't know for sure, it might be the other way around. AD is kinda weird 'cause it and the Vittorio Veneto (if you ask me THIS line should have been the PBB) were the ACTUAL competitors to the German dreadnought projects. but again, let's pull up that classic response people throw in the forums: NavyField =/= Real Life

The battle-cruisers Dunkerque and Strasbourg were never under English (UK) control. Dunkerque was crippled at Mers El Kebir, while the Strasbourg and several destroyers managed to escape the English and either join the Free French, or the Vichy French.

someone who made this thread so long ago that its in the old data forums made a suggestion of replacing the Alaska and Guam attack cruisers with the Lexington class battlecruiser which were what the Lexington and her sister ships were originally going to be before 4 of them were to be scrapped and the 2 that were most complete the Lexington and the Saratoga were converted to being the United States first fleet carriers. How about make the Saratoga in her orignal battlecruiser design to be the us new PBB some one even made harbour images of the ship
