Just came out of a sortie where 8 of the BB at the start were not carrying scouts. This does not include a Nelson. And not one of the AA whore no talent leeching Moltkes was carrying a scout. No wonder the games just suck so much.

While on the topic of 8, that seems to be the number of planes most typically launched on one pilot.

I am seeing that a lot with bombers, not so much with the fighters. I think it may be the inability to multi task.
Sure seeing a whole lot of fleet ABing this week. Not always the usual three fleets, more of them doing it now.

Just to get this right., you get your first post locked then make another? As far as BB's scouting, yes it has become a problem and needs to be dealt with, but so do the BW CV's and the Boarder humping bomber problem. CV players are just about to blame as BB players, they all need to up there game. But that won't happen until the player base gets better at learning how to listen to constructive criticism, and read guides. When I play my CV I send out nothing but 120 scouts and fighters, until I know for a fact that I have air superiority, then maybe, just maybe I will send out a wave of bombers. The fact that CV players think that they don't have to scout for BB's then wonder when they fail cause there CV's fighters are getting munched on, cause they either #1. Don't know how to dogfight there fighters or #2.They don't know how to run there fighters or #3.They don't know how to control there fighters and get them shot down as soon as the go over the enemy line and get into AA coverage radius. As long as I have been playing, (unless it was a lower level CV that I was playing against higher level CV's) I have never got complaints about vision. So if you really want to fix the problem then you need to more constructive and not just flame a group of player as cause they are ill advised, and don't know how to play there selected ship line. Try leading by example, and maybe just maybe it will start to change the culture that NF has come to be.

It hurts to say that I didn't see any problem with the rest of what you said, but this bit here is just complete lunacy.

I've been around long enough to know this is a complete crock of crap on a truly elite level.

This may have been workable four years ago, but the through-the-roof XP for doing nothing pushes in the opposite direction of helping somebody to get better, either directly through conversation or indirectly by example (wrecking them in battle).

First and foremost, just because a mod shuts down a thread does not mean the topic should not be addressed. If it had not been for the complaints of the player base we would never had had fixes to the over powered Q Class DD, the TK penalty for TWs firing with indifference..........
Unless we the player base complains, SDNet will do nothing to work with the game. The HHs are an excellent example, they should not have the force that they do against surface ships, but since it is a premium item that SDNet makes money off of they will not alter them. They fixed the damage issue with the DCs, they can certainly do it with the HHs. But too many HH hacks, no talent morons that can not use guns well enough, arm with HHs.
There are not enough CVs in a battle nor can they arm a flight fast enough to be as effective as a BB. You can have CV players that perform poorly, but the extent of the influence in the outcome of the game in nominal compared to a poorly performing BB.
A CV with only bombers I feel is poorly balanced, but for the most part, it will do more attack than most of the BBs in the battle. Why should a CV rely on the BBs to account for the team's attack when most of these BB players are clueless as to what they should be doing.
The deterioration of the player base can be laid wholly at the feet of SDNet. Their failure to recognize and address this decrease in ability is at the root of the problem. The creation of shared experience with no reward for actually participating is at the root of our poor player base. Blitz is a problem in placing players in a lvl of ship before they have the ability to command it is a problem, but nothing has harmed the game more than shared exp.
