Its not what you think it is.
First off, its another crappy alien invasion type movie....how boring. Getting tired of Hollywood spewing this crap consistently. It was cool 7 years ago...but its played out now.
Second, its based on the board game (which has nothing to do with the game itself..go figure?) and not about the battleship classes.
Third, the Missouri only has a few brief cameo appearances in the movie. Most of the on-ship filming was done on Arleigh Burke destroyers with just a few hours actually on the Might Mo herself. In which most of the MO's scenery is CGI anyway.
Fourth, other than Brooklyn Decker (shes sizzlin hot) and Liam Neeson...the cast is pretty pathetic.
