They don't care GT, they just lock threads or ignore them till they die. The MODS sometimes pretend to know stuff but that is about it. I kinda feel sorry for them and would maybe respect them if they all resigned out of disgust with $DE but most have no real capacity to understand or care so I'm not holding my breath. They think what they do matters but they are really meant to buffer and diffuse the rage of the player base so $DE can keep "working continuously" not to solve the problems we present

Well let me address the issue as bast I can.
The mods here dont know the answer to the question. The GM stated they sent the info onto the Hosting
Service and didnt get a response that it was being fixed. I am sure the staff is busy with other more pressing issues but a ticket cant hurt.

So I leave it to you if you want to send a ticket in.

So for an issue that was identified by mfischer FOR FREE over 3 months ago this is the best $DE can do for an answer..... "we called our hosting company and they ignored us"......
CHANGE HOSTING COMPANIES.

As for "The staff is busy fixing more pressing issues"..... What does that mean ? Are they working on the giant security hole ? WHO KNOWS !!!!! NO MOD WILL POST IN THAT THREAD EITHER. What issue might be more important than one that can potentially cause lag for all players ?

Are they developing new half-assed unbalanced untested content no one wants ? Updating the website to 2004 standards ?
What will my ticket tell them ? NOTHING they shouldn't already be hip-deep in solving already.
But hey just go ahead and tell us to "send in a ticket" and then lock the thread.... that usually does the trick.

If I crash then the game refuses to load again.

I end up having to reboot the computer and then its ok.

$DE SUXORS AND WON"T SOLVE OUR PROBLEMS IS THE POINT.

The results of the survey were passed in to the Devs Gt. I will ask about an update, but yes there is constant work ongoing to try and improve game stability. Any claims to the contrary or that SDE don't care are quite frankly unhelpful misdirection and incorrect.

After I didn't get in after 10 tries, I wanted to see how many before I could actually get in to the game. I could've restarted my computer, but...to be honest...it is completely ridiculous that a game is so unstable it forces a computer reboot just to get it to work.

I did crash 2 games after I got back in to the game and I restarted the computer then.

You can call it inappropriate to bash the work they are doing...but the game is more unstable than it was two or three years ago. Even with upgrading and moving the servers, people still crash out of the game constantly. And, with the addition of HS, it's a crap shoot even to get the game to load properly.

There are people that brag about only crashing once or twice an hour.

I fully admit that 3 years ago, I was playing on a relatively old laptop and a mediocre internet connection. I crashed in HAs and lagged pretty bad. I didn't complain much at all to SDE or TNF or whatever. It was usually just the people on Jedi TS during HAs.

Now, I have an internet connection that lets me watch netflix over wifi on my TV while playing other games and browsing the internet without ever seeing a bit of lag. And a computer that quadruples the system requirements for most video games.

Yet, I don't alt+tab for fear of breaking the game and I sit in fear when I don't hear people enter a room for 15-20 seconds because there's a good chance the game has frozen for no reason whatsoever.

So what is being done about the hosting ? They have had 3 months knowledge of this problem. Why is there no update if they are "working continuously " ?
You can just hire a company to do it correctly.... why has this not been done ?

To say that they have been working on this for 3 months and have not come up with any new information, much less a solution is absolutely NOT CREDIBLE. They HAVE NOT been working to solve this.

How do we take anything other than $DE does not care away from that ?

And when you sit here and defend them and present no more info other than "its been passed on" it continues to prove you just carry their water for them and don't care yourself. If you cared you would have an answer from them or you would understand our frustration.
But go ahead, carry on, u must be doing a great job guy and everyone here respects you and your work..........game satisfaction is obviously at an all time high.

When you actually have evidence and proof that something has been done feel free to post again, otherwise its just hot air and you falling deeper in the negative respect category.

As I said GT, I have requested updated news for you from the feedback we collated and provided on the crashing issues, which continue to be worked on.

I guess its my fault for asking questions right Vick ? I should just ignore the problems with the game and lack of response from $DE/Mods. I am just a lowly paying customer...........not a mighty mod .......

You can ask questions in a constructive manner and you will get answers, as have been provided to you already. However, when answered you need to accept them, rather than try and constantly turn everything in to further bashing, which I will not be drawn in to a slanging match on.

I understand the frustration associated with crashing and as GT asked in a constructive manner, despite being frustrated, I will act on it as best I can to get some updates. The Devs and SDE understand the frustrations of crashing and are working as best they can to rectify it.

My questions have been asked in multiple threads by multiple people. I have asked nicely and been ignored. Other people have asked nicely and been ignored. Do you want me to show you the threads so you can go back and answer when someone asked nicely ? I doubt it.

Other than "we know about the problem" and " our hosting company ignored us " I have NOT gotten any answers and those don't really count as it has been 3 months.

Just say the devs will not tell me or the devs don't care...... we deserve answers to these questions. If $DE is ignoring you when u ask ..... just TELL US THAT.... its better than ignoring us.

Why can't you just answer the question now instead of going around in circles ?

Just give us an update ..... you can not work on this problem for 3 months and not have a solution to the hosting issue. Either they haven't worked on it or won't.
