dont get the soldati. Get the lvl 25 ECL. Its much better. The ECL comes with trips and duals and put torps for blitz on T slots

The soldati has a set of 5.9 singles that can only fit on the two larger R slots but have a phenomenal muzzle velocity (+1000) and a range seemingly greater than a CAs (Its certainly longer range than the 6in duals or trips that you can fit on the CLs).

In the end it's up to you to decide what guns you want to use.

Wikipedia says: This class were essentially a repeat of the Oriani destroyer design. The anti-aircraft armament was increased and a 120 mm starshell gun was installed amidships. In batch two, the starshell gun was replaced by a single full size 120 mm gun. Some ships were fitted with radar in 1942. Too bad there is no 4.7" set with identical reload/muzzle velocity. So practicaly the middle R-Slot is useless? Btw: i also have the ECL, but i give the Soldati a try. Too bad the ECL only fits 3 binds of ammo! Btw2: using only 2 barrels on a DD is suboptimal. But the 5.9" also fit on the Leone. Only 1 Bind but 4 barrels plus CA Range. Funny.
