We all know about NFEU adopting this idea, and I think it's time for us to have a stab at it.

 
A few Suggestions for medals:
 The Medal Of Honor: Purchase a USN BB/CV 6

 The Royal Victorian Order: Purchase a RN BB/CV 6

 The Iron Cross: Purchase a KM BB/CV 6

 The Order of The Golden Kite: Purchase an IJN BB/CV 6
  The Legion of Honor: Purchase an MN BB/CV 6


 The Gold Star: Purchase an SN BB/CV 6


Medals could be useful for fleets, as they could require certain medals.
They also are a great thing to just show off, and they would add a new reason to play NF.

I've seen medals in other games, and beyond the clutter, never understood the value. If you need a medal to stroke your e-***** well... that's just your prerogative. And to be frank, Medals only serve the purpose of bragging rights and I believe we have enough of the ego already in the game (as do most games).

but i would say we could also interpret this the hard way and say that we want metallica in our headphones for purchasing IJN BB6 or Iron Maiden for CV6. You know, Aces High.
