Think of it from a business point of view. Now how do you feel?

Excuse me...these are event drops, meant to stimulate use of olive store items and incent the community. They aren't being sold.

But giving a guy with 10 HQ expansions another expansion doesn't incent...he can't use it and can't trade it. It misses the point (much like your post).

I'm not asking for more drops, or anything that they aren't giving away already...just the ability to exchange for something useful.

Adding on to what MilneCat is saying. Maybe lower the drop rate on:
B.O Resets: A lot of us have too many. And from a buisness point of view
All the people that want it, now have an abundance of them, lowering the amount of money they'll make off the $20 Reset.

HQ Expansion: Honestly i can understand that people DO need them. But the drop rate on these are too high. Theres no incentive to buy more of something you didnt want in the first place.

HH/Mines: Amazing drop rate on these! (Sarcasm) over 70% of the people that play now have 500+ of these. Its causing a lot of pointless ranting. Lower the drop rate a little.

Smoke bombs: These are something people can benefit on. People use them to cover themselves/teammates. Or use tactically. The smoke bomb is the one of the best incentives you get from this event to buy in olives. Increase drop rate?

Vet/Expert packs. Both good. People will buy them regardless. But the vet drop is too high. Personally i have 20 spare vet packs. And i have 3 crews. If everyone has 100 vets on their sailors, and you cant buy more than 100 vets per sailor. Then why would you buy more? Money losy again.

I would like to see like you said a trade idea or at least a drop in drop rate of some of the more. "pointless" premium items.

they can have an option to return the unwanted item for half the price. for BO reset actual cost 400 olives, trade option would be 200 olives. lots of players would want that.

I do believe we should have the ability to exchange items for OLIVES...not just drop items ...but every item that you have in your acc.

1 reason being the one mentioned about the event dropping useless items..which people are stuck with and dont have any use for them.

2nd is that sometimes people buy stuff that they dont use anymore..or buy too much and they have extra..

An refund option for items would be great in both cases..where u can get lets say 80% of the olives worth for the items back...and u can buy something else.

I have at least a dozen BO resets and think this would be a bad idea.
If I sold those, $240 of possible revenue gone for SDE.
This is why they shouldn't have item drops at all - people get more and more selfish. I have vet items etc from
the first Christmas Coin drive I'd love to trade but asking for this is not realistic.
If you stop and think you are just thinking about yourselves. I can't use all my items either but I can look at it
objectively and see that if EVERYONE was able to trade their items, there would be no use for buying anything
from the store. Would you really do this if you ran the business?

Indeed! It would be nice to trade in at the store for something you might need. Nice idea.

Question: can you trade them with another player? That would be good.

Your judging on a small sample, I have seen forums flooded every event saying "I need a BO reset but all I keep getting is XXX", see it in the game as well. Personally I still have a couple and no use for them.

Falls under the same category as the BO Resets.

Purchase is the key word in this statement. The drops are free items, given at no cost (save your time) not something purchased. Even many raffles or drawings that give away prizes will have several different prizes. If you draw one prize do you expect them to give you one of the other ones that you'd rather have, because someone else got it?

Outside of Mines, I think many peoples rants more involve jealousy that others have gotten what they'd like whereas they've receieved a different prize.

to sum it up, what would one person need with a dozen BO resets, a dozen vets pack sure, but a dozen BO resets? I have been one of the ones that would love to have one, but have been unlucky thus far, a trade like ill trade you some expert or vet packs for your BO reset, seem like a good idea

or exchanging them for something ppl would like, the whole thing for the drop is to give the community something back that they have given to SDE, it would be like a company giving you 20 turkeys for your 5 yr acheivment with the company, instead of something you can use

we are all thankful for SDE and their resent drops, all ppl are asking is they dont need a dozen BO resets, let them be turned in half price for something they can use, I dont see how SDE is loosing money when they gave it away already

that be like you handing me a car, and not the title to it, it was given to you, you should be able to use what you get or exchange it for something you will use
