  • New poll for HA time schedule

At our forum, farazelleth suggested a new time schedule for the current HA. His purpose was to arrange the time schedules easier to participate from different timezones. We agreed that it is worth to discuss, so we started a poll for this issue. Check his suggestion, and give us your opinion!

*Go to poll

*Suggested time schedules by farazelleth (See full thread)

Thanks,

I'm not sure what you were getting at with this comment, but the HA times have been complained about and changed multiple times over the years.

In fact, there used to be two HAs a week. People complained about having to play on Wednesdays and how it slowed down the server. So, they got rid of the second HA and only had it on Saturdays.

Then, they removed HA for more than a year for "improvement" and did jack crap work on it. And, after months of complaining that HA needed to come back, they brought it back with a change in time to only ONE harbor (Tokyo) so that it was ridiculously impossible for a north american fleet to hold it.

And now, years later, people are still asking that the times get moved so they are spread out from morning to night in America allowing NFNA to actually be NA while also allowing everyone else to participate in one or two.

Change your translator then.

And South America should roughly have the same timezones as North America - because timezones are split from east to west and not from north to south. And considering these changes are mainly aimed at making the times better for the North American playerbase, the South American playerbase should benefit as well.

JAJAJAJAJAJAJA!

Several people have proposed time changes.

I thought that everything was reversed in the southern hemisphere. Hurricanes and tornadoes spin the other way, water goes down a drain in reverse, clocks turn backwards, the middle of the day is midnight and morning is 9pm, dogs and cats living together, MASS HYSTERIA!

Suffice to say I made a suggestion, then sent in a ticket. The GM's really liked the idea so made a poll for a "democractic vote". These changes were not made to benefit the American time zones only. The Tokyo change benefits everybody and the Hamburg/Newyork change benefits Europe the most.

Yes I get it, some Asian fleets/players who already own Hamburg or New York are going to potentially lose out because its 2 hours earlier. With the argument hey we invested lots of time and money defending this harbour since merger, what about compensation?!

My response to you is, nobody lost out more than Blacksun in the merger. We lost Hamburg and our 10'000 production rental BB5's. But we realised it was for the greater good and saw it as a new oppertunity. These time changes could offer a new competition for yourselves, Tokyo is a prime target for everybody now.

I've said it before, if you don't like my times, offer an alternative. If you want to Keep Hamburg and New York the same but change Tokyo then say so. Simply voting No keeps prevents us from moving forward.

Look at what fara said, " Tokyo is a prime target for everybody now".

SO , why dont you just post an thread about changing the time of Tokyo only? I think this is not the first time I ask this question. And till now, fara does not answer my question. Instead of fara, other fara supporter said lots of useless word but no one answer directly.

Why should he have to answer your question about why he didn't just post a schedule changing Tokyo?

He wanted to change all of the times, so he posted a proposal. The questions you have proposed in the past couple of hours seem quite pointless and have zero meaning. He can post whatever the hell proposal he wants.

I believe you are seeing ghosts where there are none and you are taking the thread elsewhere.

The thing is like this:
-Many people wanted to change HA times for years, yet they only asked for a change and didn't propose a solution.
-Now farazelleth looked at the issue and proposed a solution to the problem a lot of people were having.
-This suggestion was looked at by GMs and they thought it was a well presented solution.
-Now GMs are asking for input in the form of a poll.

It's as simple as that, not more, not less... please don't look for anything else other than this because you are derailing the thread. There are no fleets involved, there is no conspiracy against anyone... it's just one person presenting a good case to solve an apparent problem. Now it was farazelleth, but it could have been anyone interested enough to present the solution as he did.

You have all the right to be unhappy about the proposal, and there is a solution for that also... you can vote no or vote to change to another schedule.
You can also make your own solution and present it in the same way.

Now please keep the discussion around HA Schedules and don't accuse people... I will start hiding posts that derail this thread.

I do not understand why we need to change the current schedule. Instead of changing the time schedule, I would rather see the France Harbor open for HA.

Why don't we start a poll on the time schedule for France harbor?
For those who are not satisfied with the current time schedule, we can find a good time slot for them. Thus we have one more target for HA
