Why should I need to know that? No-one I know puts planes on the borders or under the hud so I don't need it at all...

As for any accusations I have made, I have simply stated that those aircraft are border humped. There is no way of getting around it, THEY ARE. Whether that is against the rules of HA or not, I haven't touched upon, whether it is punishable or not I haven't touched upon, all I have said is that they are border humped.

I will go a step further however and say that the player who has launched those planes there is one of impecably low moral standing.

All this quoting and you guys aren't getting anywhere in the macrocosm. In the microcosm of that HA, I had fun with the ships I played with and played against.

BTW, Isn't anyone gonna complain about the crashing and data file corruption inbetween tiles?? You guys could be using your energy much more productively towards SDnet, and all the crashing or harbor glitches instead of each other.

Yeah, unfortunately you are still wrong...

The planes are clearly concealed by the Hud, that means they are being placed in a position in which players are unable to see them without prior knowledge they are there.

Guess what, I don't go along the border unchecking and checking my hud to make sure there aren't planes there and neither does anyone else. To suggest that simply because the hud can be lowered to make them visible is ridiculously thick.

As for a conversation with the MODs, try talking to one who knows what they are talking about, because anything which is NOT visible using the standard NF view is considered border humping. Lowering the hud is not standard, how is a lvl 20 player supposed to know how to do that?

I don't even know the command to lower the hud...

#1 It's every players personal responsibility to educate themselves on the functions and rules of the game.

#2 The in game function of F8 to drop the hud would not be if it wasn't meant to be used to see the whole map.

#3 You have been playing this game how long and don't understand all the functions of this game and are now trying to interpret the rules of the game to the community......utter failure on your part...LOL

OK, that doesn't really come into the discussion, but thumbs up for making up a third irrelevant point...

An assumption that a function exists to be used. Well, that would be fine and dandy if the hud wasn't critical for the operation of a ship... But nice try.

Interpret the rules of the game lol? No, I think you will find I am explaining the rules of the game. For your information I have been playing this game nearly 6 years, and I think you will find I am indeed qualified to tell you you are wrong.

As I have previously stated, the hud can indeed be lowered, but if you don't KNOW the planes are down there, you will never lower your hud and you will never see them. The only sensible and indeed correct determinate from that is that the default map and default screen are the limititations of border humping.

But as I said, good try, just aim higher and be correct next time :)
