Wouldn't it be cool if you could somehow integrate playing Navyfield into a real Battleship?

Imagine playing NF onboard HMS Belfast for example.

Your friends controlling Guns independently, AA and Guns.
Someone on the Radar?
Someone on the scouts?
Someone controlling the ship?
and then you could go outside for a joint!!!

LOL

Now that would just be awesome and probably the best simulator ever!!

Imagine a conference center. Many people are gathered there and have nametags and shirts that say "PLAYER"
They are gathered here and there talking about nf, all sorts of talk.
Now imagine there are quite a few people roaming around with shirts that say "FORUM MOD" . They stroll up and listen to what each group is talking about and occasionally pull out an air horn, and BLAAAAAAAAST it, drowning out all discussion, then telling the people gathered that this conversation is over, please find another. This is ridiculous. You can't even MENTION another game in these forums? This is retarded. Not talking about them makes them go away or rock less or NF suck less?
Lol, anyone on these forums isnt a new player, and anyone still in game is a masochist that happens to love this game. This whole gestapo, thread locking , editing crap just makes you guys look more shabby than you already do , and it's pathetic. Truly. Get a life, and let people talk about what they want. Anything, except perhaps patently offensive or illegal stuff. What is wrong with you people? Control Issues much?

The game company has set rules about what's okay to talk about and what isn't. Some of it might be odd to you, certainly, but the simple fact is that every person and every culture has different levels/limits to what is offensive and how much they can take. SDE has chosen to set the bar relatively low to include both younger players and players from cultures more easily offended than perhaps yours.

But every online gaming company does this and every one of them has moderators whose job it is to try and keep a lid on things. That's just a fact of life.

If you find the forum rules too restrictive, you can always post on a different forum or even start your own. As I understand it, a number of Navy Field players have done precisely that, and it's working out pretty well for them. =P

PS - I hid your second post. While this one has discussable points, the other was just flaming Koreans.

Having served aboard USS Wisconsin, I have to say I find the Navy Field game far more entertaining. =P

But seriously, I have yet to find an awesome computer game that lets you control different duty stations (or in fact command a ship) in the manner you're talking about.

There is games out there that does exactly what he as described (older ones), however they are very very boring games. It could be just because their old and the play style sucks i guess. You will probably see this type of game in the near future however.

This sounds like you're asking SDE, possibly the most money-oriented gaming company known to man, to pay for battleships that are likely 50x the size of their office space. And, it seems like youre asking them to pay for more than one. I just lol'd in my mind.

Edit: This would also require SDE to put them somewhere. I guess they could ask busan harbor authorities... ^^
