  • About classing fighters to squad leader..

    03. 23. 2013 02:54

Arrgh

In the past before the cv patch came along i always heard to not class to sq leader because you would lose durability. I know bomber ability no longer has an effect on this.

My ace ftrs are nearing lvl 90, they have 120 vets on them and experts are always full, so my question is..

Currently are there any negative effects to classing correctly on time or slightly late?

You still want to class on time all the way up to fighter. It's only after they're already fighter pilots that further classing starts to see reduced recruits per level.

Well, as I only get fighter pilots with at least +10 repair base, I leave them special forces until level 40 when I class them fighter (and no further). Doing so gives me 30 points more repair and restore displayed ability than going sp.f.=>rookie=>fighter - not enormous, but with 8 pilots it all adds up. My KM fighters (level 110) have 239 vets - there the repair does make a difference that I appreciate.
