I can only laugh. It's worse than before. The BB5 SN is the worst, the SN BB4 has BB5 range with 16" !!!! and Mandel range is now BB3/BB4. Good job.

Honestly I think it was fine...it takes like 5 hits just to down a scout. Don't see how that is OP....but hey, guess some people just don't want to lower or move their scout

The purpoouse was to nerf the T slot because it was apparently " so overpowered" when all we can do was just to fix the 360 degree guns on the old richelieu.

Not the main reason iirc.

It was more the case of a gunset looking for another ships to be used on.

The premium 5.1"guns( dual and quad) were also made into regular AA guns, because someone liked it I think ( also they did it before on NFEU?).
Someone then got the idea to remove the Rich's 2nd r-slot position, making it T-slot guns and giving the Rich an extra support slot. The 5.1" could then also be used as a matched set on the Rich as well as the Alsace ( which already had a few large T-slots). However SDE shot that idea down.
But the matched set couldn't be used fully on the Rich, so the t-slots were changed a bit so the quads could be used on the T-slots. Afterall with the 5.1" in use the number of barrels firing to 1 side could be made the same as the with the old Rich.
The 360 firing on the rear 4 t-slots was hardly discussed.

This story does have an extra helping of fail in it though, cause the quad 5.1" AA guns were patched to a reload of 3.36 if i saw it correctly, instead of matching the 2.4s of the dual ( the premium 5.1"dual and quad both have 2.4s reload).

Thtas right now the BBs of BB3 to BB5 are the worst in every nation.
BB3 Decrease Resistance,speed and rane
BB4 and BB5 his gunns are a madness, i dont know whos the madness put this patch and the PBB are Range of BB4,so now we need waste money to buy a PBB.

lower level gun level change are kinda useless too.


They changed the level but still require heavy gunners to use.


So Jeanne D'Arc and emile bertin only gets their good gun at lvl 43 :)

So my understanding is that SDE was selective in the change the test team made and unleashed only part of it, which made it worse?

Nah, SDE put a deadline on this project, work wasn't finished before the deadline but SDE pushed it onto the live servers anyway :P

I do not understand why rebalancing the Soyuz. It was a perfectly balanced BB5

The funny thing is that now the BB4 has the same range as the BB5 110 " guns and it's 3 knots faster

Not to mention the SN BB5 now is as fragille as the H44 and SY LOL.

It was somewhat balanced post-patch, but still broken. All they had to do is slightly increase the range of the triples. Otherwise you get poor man's Montana and a poor man's L2.

Man, to me the H44 is now awesome compared with the Soyuz.

If a work isn't finished, leave it unchanged. it's that simple...

I just wanted to say...at least one good thing came out of this. Even just the 1 knot increase to the base speed of Richi has made a huge difference for me. Now I am able to get in and out with a few hits on people instead of being too slow to get away. Although I did notice the spread is bit better too...honestly I don't think it is a bad thing because Richi doesn't have that great of firepower anyways. Mine doesn't block shot but I only have level 101 Elite Acc gunners so maybe it is OP at 120...but not as low as I am so far.
