adams67s made a thread on HA times, to which I hope to improve upon and get your guys responses.

So here is my easy to read picture,


Let me try explain. Currently as I see it we have 6 active timezones in NFNA, my goal was to change the HA times so everyone could easily take part in atleast 3 HA's
with the option of staying up late/early to take part in more. As it stands we have a fairly spread out HA timeframe with Tokyo right out there on its own.

The two biggest changes was to bring back Tokyo into the fold and create 6 new concentrated time slots. Similar to how New Yorks current prep time overlaps active Hamburg HA
I have followed the same system here, where every time you see is the acctual battle times. (Meaning prep overlaps with the previous timeslot by 1 hour).

If you look closely I have already picked 3 new HA start times (London is unchanged). Let me explain why. The goal was to make it so each HA would fit atleast 4 of the 6 major timezones that play in NFNA, so..

(1) Tokyo in time slot 1 means its a little early for PST & EST but perfect for UK,CET,Philippines/Asia and a tiny bit late for Sydney.
(3) London is unchanged, it's perfect in timeslot 3 because it fits PST, EST, UK, CET and for the rest its late but if you want to stay up, playable.
(4) Hamburg in its new earlier timeslot again is similar to London in that PST, EST, UK, CET all can take part if but a little late for europe.
(5) Finally New York works for PST, EST and its afternoon time for Phillippines/Asia and Syndney. (also crazy Europeans who want to stay up that late!)


Anyhow there it is, my proposal and argument for. An effort to make HA more available to everyone who plays around the world, please comment if you think its good or bad, or what could be changed!

I would much rather see HA moved to friday/saturday night and sunday afternoon to open up Saturday for running fleet wars. More fleets can take part in fleetwars with a limited team size compared to a HA that most fleets dont do. I mean how many HA were there these past couple of weeks on Neb?

The number of active HA's might improve *IF* SDE changed these timeslots. More people able to play, as it stands only London for me is idea, Hamburg is 2am late and New York is retarded late at 5am. Tokyo is also quasi-wierd because its 9am? on a Saturday morning and I like to sleep in as much as possible so I can be awake for the late/early morning Sunday HA's.

i am confused fara

For european guys it would be still 2 HA´s that have good time the rest are still at weird times :) and if you like to go out on saturdays its only 1 HA left that fits!

The suggested times perfect for all american timezones cus in this sheet they can play all 4 perfectly so its only a change that fits 4 the American timezones....

As a European i cant see that it would be better pretty much the same like yet, seriously why you wanna change the times? its good how they are I think!

If I am able to set my clock 4 Hamburg or NY also American guys can do it 4 Tokio :D

but thats just my opinion

Currently Tokyo is really early for UK and late morning for EU. London is perfect and Hamburg/New York is really late starting at 2am onwards.

My changes would mean, Tokyo would move an ideal afternoon slot, London would be unchanged in the evening slot and Hamburg would be earlier at midnight instead of 2am. Only New York would still be very late at 3am. It's significantly better than what is currently used!

HA's >>>>> FW's for most people I think. FW is about a limited roster where as HA is more about numbers.

You contradict yourself. Most people are not in large HA ready fleets.

Maybe you are correct for people in those fleets but not the rest of us.

But the at least "3 HA´s" thats even not possible 4 europeans even with your timeplan.
Its maybe 2 possible and 1 really late Hamburg.

Yeah i dont mind at all, but i guess 1/4 of the active players is from Europe or similar timezones on the Nebraska Server. All what i wanted to say that the European guys are not really affected by this Timeplans except for Tokio which was ok for Europeans even for the UK 10am is not that early.

Does anyone knows are there any stats where the ppl are from in this Game?

as for the new timetable i'll say it is still acceptable :)
but as in the GMT+8 time zone i'd pefer the old timetable for the HAs..
coz only UKHA which is 4am-60am here is almost unplayable for me -.-
the new time for IJNHA is kinda late but i think it is still ok
although i don't have much chance to participate in any HA anymore lol.................
just saying

Don´t get me wrong I didn´t say that I don´t like it sry english is not my first language :) maybe I didn´t find the right words everytime so i am maybe missunderstood in some ways my bad :) I just want to ask cus fara wrote that every timezone in the sheet has at least 3 playable times for my point of view its 2 (UK/IJN) and if I want to party on saturday evening its only 1(IJN)! Thats also a reason why PP on MO was mostly interested on Tokio cus there where also ppl in there they dont liked London cus they have to skip their plans 4 the evening to participate.

I acctually like the timeplan but as I wrote there is not much difference, only for the Americans it would be a real advantage as they can participate all 4 HA´s without skipping ther night out plans....

Who do you cater for then? Big fleets that can do HAs & FWs or smaller fleets that just do FWs when they come around.
