hi guys,

I am about to choose my bb2 -bb3 line and i want to know which one is the better one. I know it used to be the IM one but since it was changed with the recent patch i am not sure anymore.

I have at the moment 5 engs 3 reps a restorer 2 main gunners and scout. Will i be needing any more sailors? and if  so wat do u suggest i should get.

Thanks for the help guys really appreciated.

They are a bit outdated, but generally the idea should still apply.

Angus SN guide is outdated since the MN/SN PATCH (?)

yes and no. Some of the facts are out of date, but I think the overall advice on playstyle etc. and the difference in the how the trees feel would still be valid

The guide is still worth reading, though I would be all over a new version if Angus felt like putting in the effort. Not counting my KM SS crew, SN is the only nation I play, and I've got a BO down each line--SS, CV and BB.

Of course, that guy takes quite a bit of abuse for all the time he volunteers.

The main guiding fact about picking your SN BB Line used to be the fact that the IM was really OP... Most chose to get in it for that reason alone. Now that the SN line has been out a while SDE has dialed it back to creat balance in the Lines and create balance in all Nations BB's. I personally rode the Seva to the BB3 due in part to the fact that the Seva does have the extra support slot, unfortunately I did what some of you may be doing... I'm attempting to keep all of my supports about 5 levels above my main BO and I'm grinding 14 sailors. I'm grinding more sailors that any of the ships have slots currently, and My gunners are now 10 levels above the BO. This has led to a arduous grind but I feel that when I get to BB6 I won't have to worry about not having my 14 ready for the ship and then doing the mindless grind to get all your supports to 115.

I have:

2BO's (82, 81)
2 ACC Gunners (92)
4 Engy's (81 - 85)
3 Rep (81 - 85)
2 Restorers (81 - 85)
1 Scout (92)
1 Seaman (88)

All Elite Boosted and Vetted

At one time I had 2 additional gunners but my playstyle just doesn't mesh well with trying to AA on a BB that is the reason I had more supports than I needed, due in part that when you get into your BB6 depending on if you're Doing HA's and all you may want to remove your T slot Gunners in Lieu of Restorers to slow your burn down and allows your Reps to kick in sooner after taking a hit. Restorers increase your survivability after you take an impact and increase your SD. Some people will argue that Restorers are useless but I find use in them.

Personally I chose the Kronshstadt line first just cause I like the way it looks... more modern; whereas the IM looks like a turd.... Can't wait to get to Stalingrad so I can actually join a BB line and not have to run interference or be a scavenger...

Had to edit my crew levels, missed them by 10
