I dont think it has been mentioned but run 2 BO's to keep supports up to or above your BO level. I helps quite bit to take the tme to do this.
Pick BO's with good Rep/Eng stats
I run 6 eng (2 being special sailors leveled to 120 and then classed to 2nd eng)
If you have any hero sailors from event RN supports is a great place to use them. Late class them as eng. Read elsewhere on how best to do that.
I ran two pairs of gunners one pure Reload and once pure ACC. You will use the Reload for R slots after Blitz but it is fun to dominiate blitz with a blockshot York with vetted ACC gunners. I use the ACC for HH after Blitz. If you have elites both will eventually cap ACC and Reload. How soon depends on vets ect.. RN Pure reloads in WaW rooms are no slouch when it comes to raining R slot shells.
I also mistakenly leveled two Restore. They were not needed but hind site is 20/20 ect.. I did keep one for an escort sold the other. It is amusing to see BBs and subs trying to sink an escort with buldge, 900 SD and a 120 rep on it.
I also have 4 reps and of course a scout.
So there you have it. If you take the extra time to level a few extra sailors you can play with your set up to suit your needs. Sometimes I run 6 eng, 4 reps sometimes 6 eng 2 reps and T slot gunners for HH, sometimes 6 eng, 3 reps and one T slot HH. With good vets and experts you will pretty much be at caps for rep and run decent OH times. If you settle on one set up you can always sell the extra sailors to pay for your QV.
The RN BB line is a lot of fun from start to finish with all kinds of set ups to choose from.
