What do you think better on US Nation ship? New Orleans or Portland?? Portland have a larger gun space. I think both can put same powerful type of gun.. But the New Orleans have more Displacement and Durability

Going back to the question, the New Orleans can go all AW in Blitz and go PWNage style! Don't you love going PWNage style? I know I do, but I've never really managed to do so... Meh :P



You CAN armor whore the Balty. Just remove the gun from the 2nd battery, and two gun it. I used that set up, which left me enough for a sizeable amount of armor, and I still averaged AT LEAST 30k attack per battle. It's best if you use the level 51 triple 8" though. They have a 4.76s reload time, so you can demolish any Hipper sporting four 5.9" guns. Or, for that matter, any idiot in a Portland/New Orleans dumb enough to go up against your superior ship.

I don't know how NoCal can be more desirable than SoDak with a crappy crew.

There is nothing wrong with any of those three ships... unless of course, he's making a CV and needs to pick NO or Port. I myself actually enjoyed the Guam and I still take it out for a spin from time to time.

I know baltimore have good in AA gun.. But I'm already have baltimore, Alaska, Sodak ship line.. I want to make new line of ship.. Just asking for what ship on North Carolina line more good to use.. Thank You for you guys informations.. ^,^

I suggest gettting an atlanta line BO and then making a BO for CV. Get much more experts/credits and more exp per game. Get a pensacola and learn to aa = you've got a nicely vetter CV crew and you can competently (hopefully) play.

I would highly suggest against going CV first without any initial crew as you will have really strange pilot configs/levels.

Mate, I had a IJN CV3, so I definately know how to play CV, I readed the guides and those things. I can AA, and I am doing that instead of those blitzkriegs but I just want to be able to lvl all my pilots at the same time. So, back to my question you didn't answered, wich ship, Portland or New Orleans has more support slots? My setup I have now is: 6 FP and 2 DB. (Still rookie pilots :))

Portland and New Orleans have the same sailor slot layout and number. If I had to pick one I'd go with the N.O.

As others have said I also would go the other BB line as well. At the BB3 lvl you will be very sad in a North Carolina. Spread is hardly better than the Sodak and the ship is made of glass, to the extent that just about any BB can 2 shot you. driving NC any BB5 can one shot you, 900 sd or otherwise.
Sodak is slightly less fragile and it is quite fast.
