I suggest replentishment ships that replentish ammunition for ships. These would come
after the APA in the ship line. Here is a nice sprite of E-17, an ammunition
replentishment ship.




How it works: The ammo ship parks alongside the ship that needs ammo, that must
also be parked. The ammo ship has a small control panel to control ammo transfer, and
a certain number of shells/minute are transferred. The ammo ship gets a cred bonus
like AA for transferring ammo to other ships.

Just cuz there ~1 kita per room doesnt mean TW supplies wont be useful yet. Youll see a mass of kita rooms now

And the most usefull thing, when certain ships classes run out of ammo.

Wouldn't describe it as most usefull thing, but 1 might come in handy in HA

Still outside of that they would be a pain to use and would not draw much attention.

I really like the idea and I think it could be potentially VERY useful. However, I don't see other players running out of ammo very often. The only time I see it is in Blitzkrieg and is by that point not needed and every now and then in GB when a BB has pulled the whole team up and is also not needed. For this to work well they would probably have to reduce the amount of ammo the ships can originally carry. Also, I like the idea of being able to replenish others scouts and planes, that would end up being useful i'm sure.

Terrible Idea, they balanced all the ships so that you have enough ammo for HA, therefore when you play GBs you have more than enough ammo. If you need ammo as a bb or something....your playing it wrong.

Elliot if you look on some things here special the ha if this ship could repair a bit of a other ship this could be really usfull for HA but then they should extend the HA time a bit.
To run out of ammo in a bb ship isnt hard, ofcourse you shall aim and know you are hitting or eals you are blowing youre cordinates to the enemy but you shall still show them that you are seeing them and it's stupid to engage.
But ofcourse you shall always try to sink the enemy ships no matter what and to trick them into youre range is the best way to eliminate them, i hope you understand my point here.
Everything got theres good and bad part.

Not true, after a stormingly awesome game in my nelly i ran out of shells after 210k attack. to be fair my accuracy was around 40% but thats not bad for a blind game.

16" L's btw. The normal set up.

I believe this is more suited to CV's, resupplying them with planes. would be a great help to CV1's who's TBs get killed everytime they go out. The higher level CV's do sometime run out of planes as well. More exp and money around for everyone :D

only thing I can see happening is people going into rooms with low ammo to make room for a little bulge or even an extra knot.

you dont speed up in game after youve shot a bunch of shells so conversely you wont slow down after you fill up with one of these ships.

and the supply ships will just be exploita leeching sailing up and down the map doing nothing, especially with fleetmates filling each other up.

would be cool to have a replenishment ship as escort filld with fighters,
that way you'd "never" run out >:)
