adams67s made a thread on HA times, to which I hope to improve upon and get your guys responses.

So here is my easy to read picture,


Let me try explain. Currently as I see it we have 6 active timezones in NFNA, my goal was to change the HA times so everyone could easily take part in atleast 3 HA's
with the option of staying up late/early to take part in more. As it stands we have a fairly spread out HA timeframe with Tokyo right out there on its own.

The two biggest changes was to bring back Tokyo into the fold and create 6 new concentrated time slots. Similar to how New Yorks current prep time overlaps active Hamburg HA
I have followed the same system here, where every time you see is the acctual battle times. (Meaning prep overlaps with the previous timeslot by 1 hour).

If you look closely I have already picked 3 new HA start times (London is unchanged). Let me explain why. The goal was to make it so each HA would fit atleast 4 of the 6 major timezones that play in NFNA, so..

(1) Tokyo in time slot 1 means its a little early for PST & EST but perfect for UK,CET,Philippines/Asia and a tiny bit late for Sydney.
(3) London is unchanged, it's perfect in timeslot 3 because it fits PST, EST, UK, CET and for the rest its late but if you want to stay up, playable.
(4) Hamburg in its new earlier timeslot again is similar to London in that PST, EST, UK, CET all can take part if but a little late for europe.
(5) Finally New York works for PST, EST and its afternoon time for Phillippines/Asia and Syndney. (also crazy Europeans who want to stay up that late!)


Anyhow there it is, my proposal and argument for. An effort to make HA more available to everyone who plays around the world, please comment if you think its good or bad, or what could be changed!

No Offence....
Personally Myself being in Australia the timings are worse than ever....

Obviously most of the people responding that they like are in the Eastern Standard Time Zone of the US as this has all the prime times when you look in comparisson to all the others.
I think mine sucks the most lol.

Just stick with what we have or set them all at the same time ( some where between a 6pm and 8pm Est start).
Just Roster them on different days, or two Fri and Two Sat (say 5pm start fo Ha 1 then start Ha 2 at 8pm EST) with Sun free for other TNF Hosted Events.

Again Sorry, Just My Personal Opinion.

im not sure if you though of this but.... daylight savings can move the times around by up to 2 hours from one point in the year to another.... just food for thought

(northern hemisphere and southern hemisphere)

edit: btw the pic is not shiny!!!! :P

Western Austrailia has same times as the Philippines, in which case only London (which has been untouched) is early/late at 5am. Tokyo is ideal at 11pm on a Saturday evening, Hamburg & New York are at slightly earlier times starting at 8am & 11am which are both playable on a Sunday morning.

Eastern Austrailia, ie Sydney if I have my numbers straight, play Tokyo at 7pm on a Saturday. It's true by moving it to 1am its alot later for you guys, but its still playable. Take Hamburg for example its a 3am start for the EU (hopefully we can change this too). But more importantly if we moved Tokyo it would make it available to significantly more people while still not being totally inaccessible to yourself.

London is unchanged at 7am, i guess if you want to wake up this early on a Sunday thats your call :)

Hamburg is earlier to make it easier on the UK/Europe (rolling it back by 2 hours) but its still only a 10am start for Sydney on a Sunday.... it's not that bad to be fair.

Finally New York starts during your afternoon at 1pm (instead of its current time of 3pm), making it the most accessible available to you. Also by moving it back 2 hours its still technically viable to UK players at 3am if they wish to stay up so late.


In all the only sacrifice the Sydney area suffers is a later Tokyo start time. Problem is Tokyo's current timeslot is early for UK/EU and middle of the night for PST/EST. Changing it to a 1am Sydney start also makes it available to 'every' other timezone. Everyone will be able to take part and not have to stay up till 5am etc.

Great idea!!

To be honest, i never understand why Tokyo HA takes time at 3:00-4:00 PST or sumthin like that, supossedly this is NFNA which mean navyfield NORTH AMERICA, mean to be played at northamerican time zone if im correct, but i might be wrong >>....and yeah i think this is all we can ask for since MN and SN harbours wont be available until the game dies in the limbo..... rec'ed.

SDE will not be opening french and russian till winter when the new harbour mode comes but they should change the ijn time maby to 5 to 7 prep 7:10 to 9:10 battle

North American Servers, in All games, normally end up being more International than regional servers.
