As for China's Aircraft Carrier, what you should be more concerned about is the fact that it's local buddy India also has a CV and both have plans to build supercarriers. This will be the hotspot of the future as both are nuclear, both have over a billion population and can easily throw hundreds of thousands of soldiers into battle.

China wouldn't be able to reach US shores unless they sneaked in in containers and overtook your ports le Earth in Conflict style.

They are far from building a supercarrier, they just bought one from another country and it isn't even fully operational yet, and it isn't even close to a supercarrier, it's more for local use. Also, not all 1 billion of their citizens will go fight, and the last time a country used massive waves of soldiers to overwhelm the enemy was in WW2 with Russia and Germany, and that only worked because they outnumbered Germany 10 to 1, Russia lost millions of soldiers in the process as well, and the US has more soldiers than Germany had at that time, we also have better weapons and many more allies. Also, coming in container crates just isn't practical because if we see giant shipping crates being dropped out of Chinese planes, we can just blow the crates to hell before they even touch the ground, or just shoot down the Chinese planes.

It's the fact that they CAN throw hundreds of thousands of troops into battles. A war between the two would have a higher death toll then WW1&2 combined.

As for the Chinese invading via shipping crates. Your defence is a bit Hollywood. Did you know more than 6 million containers enter the US and a tiny amount (something like 3% are physically inspected by customs?

Look at the trade between the two nations. What's a few hundred thousand containers just quitely slipping into the US loaded with soldiers and equipment?

It could happen.

But the Chinese can't be that stupid to try, because if they start winning then we might go to "plan everything-has-gone-to-hell" and start a nuclear war.

And not to mention that we have homefield advantage plus the US Citizens won't take a Chinese invasion lightly. They will have to fight tooth and nail for every inch of America.

Realistically, having one carrier is more for the learning process about carrier operations and perhaps how to build future versions.

However, the Chinese still lack numbers and more importantly quality supporting ship elements such as Air Defense ships and submarines to help form the Carrier Battle Group and protect the Carrier.

This ship is more like the USS Langley.  Useful for learning and developing future Carriers and Air operations but with very limited combat potential.

I'm sorry, I don't trust the Chinese with a CV. It has to be said. Even though at the moment they can't do much with it I still think they should not have it. In the future they may become a much more serious threat to both the US and Japan (also South Korea, home of SD EnterNET).

Well, we can't exactly just march right over there and sink their only CV without a reason better than oh they pose a threat to us, Japan and South Korea. They do pose a threat to Japan and South Korea but not the US, also you can't attack a country because you think they will attack one of your allies.

It currently poses no thread to either.
