Yeah I know what you mean.
Seriously thou if you only look at the picture.
For Pacific Time, the HA times are perfect, 1pm, 4pm, 7pm! Only Tokyo at 7am is the early outsider.
For Eastern the HA times are probably better still, HA's @ 4pm, 7pm, 10pm with Tokyo at a very playable 10am.
For UK Tokyo is now ideal at 3pm, London @ 9pm, But more importantly Hamburg is now at midnight. Only New York is the outsider at 3am.
For Europe, Tokyo is @ 4pm, London still at 10pm, Hamburg is a much more friendly 1am and only New York is the outsider at 4am.
For Asia/Philippines, Tokyo is still great at 11pm, there is an Early Hamburg at 8am but a perfectly fine New York at 11am. Only London is a real outsider at 5am but its been unchanged anyway!
Finally For the far far far East Sydney, Tokyo at 1am is a late but very playable HA (just like Europe and Hamburg.) London is unchanged with an early 7am start (like PST for Tokyo). And there is a very playable 10am for Hamburg and 1pm for New York.
Timezone wise this is a significant improvement for some and an almost indifferent change for others. But as far as potential Harbour Assault participant numbers go, this totally opens the doors for more people to play than is currently available.
If anyone can point out a valid argument as to why these times don't work, an alternate idea I'am all ears. The current system is flawed and this is by far the best suggestion to date so please vote Yes!
